Indoor Zaaboot has gone to pot 2022 auto spree

Space is always a premium. Give it a trial and see how it goes for you - nothing ventured and all that...
I will do for sure, going to go and double the amount in each bag and remove half of them so I can get some of my den back

Sounds like a smart move to save space indeed.. also comes in handy for larger amounts of bud

Regarding the drying in the light, you know light can transform THC into CBN during the drying process right?
That's why drying is best done in the dark. Unless you want to make some real sleep medication ;-)

Nice haul you've got from your tent btw, good luck with the last bits and cool to see the Auto Trichomes & Cream and the Auto Mimosa Punch are doing fine and ready to start their own journal :headbang:

Cheers mate! :pass:

Hey there Antonio - hope you are keeping well!

Yes - it is not a game breaker for me for these last two plants. I will process the GloF2 by removing fan leaves then in to the freezer, with only a handful of select buds to dry and smoke, that should be in the freezer by tomorrow. The Mephisto lady will get sorted out either later today or tomorrow an will go in to to the drying tent (I just need to find the extractor fan for the small carbon filter - i am certain it is somewhere :crying: ) so in theory they should both be down from there tomorrow evening at the latest. I was just so bored from wet trimming the Purple Punch and wanted to sit around and get high today :smoking:
Nice haul you've got from your tent
Much appreciated!

Looking forward to both of them, I have seen some sterling results so far from them both - i am especially looking forward to the Mimosa - hoping to get a nice black pheno

Take care and one for the road :pass:

Hey @Zaaboot, just dropped past and saw this conversation, hope no one minds me chirping up...
I use the paper bags, 3rd or 4th time now, and I may be doing it wrong - it has been said once or twice before! - but I just put a whole plant, wet trimmed (ballache) in a potato sack sized bag and flip the bag each day to ensure no buds are getting damp on the bottom. 10 days to a fortnight later and it's time for a cure in grove bags.
Here's the view of about 400g wet inside the bag after Sunday nights chop and trim session...

great share bro I'm a 6 year brown bagger myself but I know you can put whole plants in big enough bags but I just cover the bottoms and I always wet trim
That is very useful to know, I am only putting a few nuggets in each bag.
I wet trim mine mate but you could bowl trim and then pop in the bags also id maybe get some slightly bigger bags for future rund but small will do the same job just smaller amounts
i use them.PNG

Thanks @St. Tom - I very much need to get those larger bags. I think I have found a way around the space thing, I will grab a tall small footprint tent and hang lines in it, carbon filter, small fan and hang the bags in there
The only real dilemma for me now is the wet trim bit - I keep watching videos of trim bins wet and dry and they clearly work, but it smashes my little mind thinking about what is happening to the trichomes - i am sure I am overthinking it, this could be one of those old habits I cant overcome :crying:

I wet-trim everything it just works for me and eventually you will just find what works best

SSSC Run - finals
Hello all - hope you are all keeping well!
So after my experiment with brown bags comes to a close I have weighed things up and the numbers are in.
First off, I overdried the PP a fair bit so I have put them in to Grove bags hoping that it rehydrates it slightly, it is not way out, but they are at 52% RH which is too low for my likings.

Purple Punch - 50% of this plant went directly into the freezer and the other half was trimmed - there is 1.52kg of frozen buds, and a dry weight of 273g in a Grove bag fully cleaned and dried now sealed for the cure. Looks and smells lovely, but I haven't tried it yet as I am sulking about how I overdried her :crying: .
I expect her bag to be cut open in a month or two.

GloF2 - the whole plant was cut don and put in the freezer for hash - no pics or weights - but she smelled amazingly fruity

Mephisto Freebie - Mango smile x 3bog - she came through nicely in the end. Decent stinky solid nuggets. once again half went to the freezer for hash and the other half was dried and trimmed. there was 131g on the scales just been heat sealed and off to the Fridge along with the rest.

Nice and easy grow, no dramas, not the bestest nuggets in the world but sure are fine. The heat half way through I think caused them some issues and caused a bit of foxtailing and stuff, but otherwise plug and play.

cheers for looking in

Congrats on another bumper harvest my man.. those buds look dam fine to me :d5: :vibes:

Thanks @Dankerson appreciated :headbang:
@hope2grow & @Redeye Master cheers chaps - I have to add, if the Punch was allowed the entire tent she would have given back a serious amount nuggage.

I hear the gnomes...can you hear it? ""a hash making we will go, a hash making we will go"" little f*ckers, I wanted to focus on doing very little today and now this...
4E1072E3-D52C-4319-9BE9-AAED073E0659.jpeg

And as if by magic, I have been cornered in to it again by those little buggers

First run today will just be trim - it will be one wash, for 15 minutes using about 1kg of mixed variety fresh frozen fluffbud and sugar leaf.
Tomorrow I shall set my sights on running the buds that need washing. There are about 2.5/2.8kg of fresh frozen buds floating around in the freezer from various grows(dont be alarmed, divide by 5 or 6 if you want to get a rough guide as to what the dry weight coulda woulda shoulda been). About 500g of Pink Runtz, about the same of Sweet Bourbon Kush, over 1 from the Purple Punch and the rest is generally the Mangox3BOG.

On a good run I can expect about 30g of primo bubble hash from 1kg of fresh frozen which sucks donkey balls but I can't get enough hash in my life - I have also been playing around with pressing the dried bubble for Rosin, the end product is exceptional in all categories of taste, smell and high.

Ta ta
