Slaughtered Lamb_Time for a smoke
So, after a few weeks in a Grove bag, I cracked open one of the Slaughtered Lamb bags, this was the one that grew in the 39ltr Fabric bag with Ecothrive LIving Soil.

- Smell, she has calmed down a lot since coming down - now the smell is very sweet, with a musky/cheesy feet undertones and the hint of Durian is still there that was prominent during flower.

- Smoke is very soft, smoking a fat puritan barely drew a cough from me - the taste continues with the sweet theme at inhale, during exhale there is an nice unexpected freshness followed again by a smooth Durian

The first joint gave a nice high, a few giggles without laziness - the second joint was less uplifting and hit the body nicely and leaves me where I am now :smoking:

Really enjoyable joint to smoke with a complex set of aromas with its foundation built on Durian and sweetness.

Lovely Job Sawney - thanks for the opportunity to test this one for you - its been emotional

Lovely plant! The description you gave on the Slaughtered Lamb is hilarious. Durian? Really? Heh!

Thanks DCLXVI, she really does have strong undertones of Durian, it took a while whilst growing to pin down the smell - but it took me back to many a late night in Jakarta and KL after the club getting some king Durian on the night stand, there is no other smell like it :pass:

Predator - day 55
The Predator is lovely - I liked her when in soil, and now she is once again very well structured, stocky with close nodal spacing, she will just meld together and become a big bud mutant :crying:

Anyway, at 55 days I can’t be happier - so far she has been plug and play, once she rooted she just clicked in to drive and off she went.
she has started to emit a lovely fruity dank smell, more fresh than dank but still early days.
Not sure how much she is drinking but between the 3 plants the res is getting 19.8ltr top up every second morning. She is also not shy when it comes to nutes, sitting at 2.2EC and lapping it up.

not sure if she is running slower than other Predator diaries but either way, I am pleased and can’t wait. The last Predator I grew in soil was an absolute delight to smoke but tiny so even with the available selection her grove bag was depleted very quickly, the target with this one is to bag up the plant for a few months, there is no reason to cut the heat seal other than greed:shrug:

Question to you coco growers out there, my bloom nutrients will run out this run. I have no affinity to any brand and do tend to grab anything really for my grow and bloom two parts.
Currently it is Green Haze from Growth Technology - I have tried many over the years and in my opinion there is very little in it, some of the “extras” on the other hand I swear by such as Remo Velokelp for foliar and GG monosilic during veg.
So any recommendations for my next 5ltr Bloom nutes?

update on the krayfishing - I trapped a measly 3,not Even enough for a sarnie. If summer arrives I will give it another pop, hopefully catch enough for a boil. It’s odd this time last year you could sit and watch them crawling into the traps there were so many…

ta ta for now - stay well!

US? EU? Or UK? (since they're out of the EU.)

I don't know for a plain bloom formula anymore. I ran DynaGro which did just fine on the "Gro" only with some cal/mag and silica here and there. Same with the current line. Just a little tweak here and there but one "mix" start to finish.

US - I've been using Jacks 321 with great success in coco. It's a full on 3 part blend but it runs start to finish. They have a couple add-ons but the basics are all you really need. I don't know what shipping would be across the pond. You would really only have to order a bag of A and B. The third part is just plain Epsom Salt that I suspect can be found very cheaply at the grocery store. I think it definitely need to be run with 0ppm RO water.

UK - I see a lot of the coco cats running Canna A/B. Must work well and be easily available over there.

EU- Probably have to ask @Bob's Auto's . I think he's mainland EU somewhere.

Too bad about the snacks being scarce. Just another reason to have to go fishing again isnt it? hahaha
