But, to be honest, I'm shitting myself, because I need to transplant into their 'forever pots', which means needing more lights.
Can't see anyway I can make 2 x 600W cover 16 x 30 litre pots.
Well, not unless I want 16 small shrubs of popcorn.




But if I move to 4 x 600W, the temps are going to go through the roof again.

This might get ugly, very quickly.

To be honest, the environment is the only thing I focus on [obsessively].
In my head [rightly or wrongly], if I provide them the optimal environment, they're not fighting me.
The breeders will provide the genetics for the girls and Mother Nature to do the rest.

A bit like "build it, they will come."

I do the exact same, just start from the beginning of my journal in my sig it becomes apparent real quick that I obsess over the environmental variables

Air-con out of tent giving more grow space ... CHECK

Hot exhaust air venting externally ... CHECK ... [white tubing]

Have to be honest - it's not nearly as good as I was hoping.
In fact, temps are slightly higher than when the air-con was in the tent.

It's got me stumped.

BUT - I'm also wondering if its a dodgy temp gauge or bad placement of it.
I got my daughter to seal me in the tent, and it was really nice in there - not too hot at all.
In fact, if anything, a little on the cooler side of greenhouse feeling.

I'm going to go with my 'gut' here, and say its perfectly fine.
I could stay in there all day.

In tent?
Yes.

So on the A/C unit, the white tube is the hot air exhaust to the outside.
The black tubing is the A/C cool air output, venting directly into the 'passive intake' of the extractor fan, which enters the tent bottom front left, and is extracted out top back right.

The air that can be felt leaking through the extractor's carbon filter is definitely cool air.
So there is absolutely no doubt the A/C output is being cycled through the tent by the extraction system.

COMMENTS:

I'm knackered.

A/C drilling and repositioning completed, as well as all the girls are now in their forever pots.
So now the Campus is in full swing, with 16 x 30 litre pots, and when the lights off period is over, there'll be 4 x 600W HPS sun gods for the girls to sunbathe under.

God knows what that's going to do to tent temps.
I'm waiting, anxiously.

So repotted, and also fed during lights off, to get them all settled and ready to stretch their roots and experience total freedom.

When transplanting them into their new homes, I also got a peek under the bonnet, and the roots look superb.
Good root mass, very white and looking like a strong feeding network.
They're going to LOVE the extra space to spread out in the 30 litre homes.
