Indoor x5 Blackberry Auto Run (FastBuds)

A lower runoff EC will usually correct itself after a few fertigation events, according to cocoforcannabis.com.

The ph is a bit odd considering the EC runoff is low. My guess is once you dial in the amount, and increase the frequency itll decrease. Plants look good?
Once I get home and ill post some pics.. plants looking good but not 100%. Maybe 80%. Think i still got a tiny bit of pests, and just some leaves with strage colorings that i cant put my finger on and guess what it is...

I put the hps 2 days ago and its 50cm above canopy @ 26-27c and growth pace is very visible.. pics in 2-3 hrs

Soo it's Day 42 since sprout after doing my best math ;)

They really perked up the last couple of days, more and more bud sites are forming and some stems are getting a purple blackberry tones :)

Feeding every day @ 1.0 EC and 5.8 PH.
70\30 AC \ Tap water, 1ml p\l Cal-Mag, 1ml p\l Canna Coco A+B, 0.5ml p\l Big Bud.

Runoff was 1.0 EC and PH still high at 6.7 @JayGeeCanuck @NiceOption
I get some weird coloration and spots on some leaves, maybe a slight N toxicicity.. photos below hope you can guys help, what do you think of giving a little flush on tomorrow's water? seems like good timing to avoid salt buildups and maybe lower N rates from now on..

I Re-positioned the fans and I was able to drop the temps down to 25.5c when the hps is only 30cm away from canopy. I could probably go easily with 45-50cm away and after the heatwave drop down again. probably smart to avoid light stress as well.

I couldn't restrain myself from my photoperiod growing habits as well as my OCD so I just evened out the mainlined stems that stretched more.. and defoliated 4-5 shading leaves off of each plant. Will really try to just let them be from now on...

I use Optic foliar Overgrow and have been very happy. Also use GH calimagic mixed with tap water and it’s been good also.

Thing to remember is that you can’t compare wattages for lights when going from HPS to QB which is why you see alot if people say comparable to. A lot of the wattage if HPS is converted to BTU so it’s not really light. I wouldn’t try to compare them. Decide how you want to grow and then fund folks that are using that method successfully with QB or cob and Mitch their lighting foot print and you’ll be happy. To many online sellers saying their lights match XYZ to be able to distinguish false claims. Even the draw from the wall can be useless if the have internal fans and inefficienct drivers.

Canna's calculator says 2.7mls per liter with basic tap water for a+b in early flower ( ramping up to 3.8mls per liter a few weeks later). Thats an EC around 1.7, bumping up to 2.2 at peak).

Isnt it already enhanced with cal and mag because it's coco specific? The calmag imo is taking up too much room in your water. Have you used their calculator? I assume you're in second week of flower with the addition of big bud. Is it the coco specific BigBud?

Looking good!

Just keep feeding them and the the PH on the runoff will probably drop soon. You certainly don't need to flush them!

Do you definitely have pests in there? Those spots look more like a calmag issue to me. It's always this time when I see similar issues too.

1 litre is fine for now really, if they're giving 20% runoff it's enough, they won't have the largest root system yet but they'll need more soon enough.

I can't really help with the foliar feeding. I've only just started myself and I'm using a very particular product which is used very sparsely. Impossible to know if it's making any difference but I'm sure it's helping somewhat.

:peace:

Odd...It shouldn't burn them if you're getting enough runoff. Were you adding calmag as well? Were you fertigating daily?

Ive been told Advanced nutrients is also strong, but I mix as recommended, in 400 EC water ( which is too high according to advanced and cocoforcannabis.com) but theyre fine. Not totally familiar with their nutes, I do use their coco though.

Yes both AN and Canna are strong.
And fed every other til 4 days ago. Now its daily.
This is my second run using Canna AB and second time I get N toxic in early bloom.

I will cut it to 0.5 ml p/l now, and up big bud from 0.5 to 0.75.

Still feel I should flush at least 2 of the girls that are a bit more N toxic than others... 1 girl will get a full strength feed cuz she aint as green as the others... And shes the biggest also.. so probs every other water ill give her a little more than others...

Flushing probably wont hurt, depends on the method of course.
I think its too high if you're fertigating that infrequently. The medium will dry and it will burn for sure.

Every day is infrequent?

No i meant before. You said you burned them because the nutes were too strong. I think that they were mixed too strong for feeding every other day. They burmed because of fertigation infrequency. The burn stopped when you lowered strength because it didnt accumulate as much salt in between fertigation events.

It just seems waay too low to be doing like 1/3 strength.
