This is similar to what I do. Foam insulation, reflective foil on top then a heat mat with the probe right at the bottom of the pot, set to 72fMy tent is on 2 inches of foam formular Owen's Corning insulation on the basement floor for that reason. What size pots and how much water?Glad I read this thread sounds like I may be under watering myself.
I’m in a half gallon pot of coco perlite mix, she now needs 1 litre (a quart) of water a day at 4 weeks old. I wouldn’t be surprised if you needed to give yours 1 gallon, maybe even 2 gallons each!I have 4 5 gallons that I was giving 1 gallon on on all 4 pots every 3 days . I definitely have some dry areas in my soil I can tell. I'm gonna start using at least 2 gallons between the 4 and maybe get some yucca.
Drooping is caused by suffocation. Oxygen is just as important, if not more so than water. When you water to saturation then keep going until there’s plenty of runoff, you force fresh oxygen into the rootball via the vacuum caused by water running out the bottom of the pot. I’ve never been a fan of the little and often approach to watering. They droop hard when I split 1 gallon between all 3 of them. Hard to imagine im underwatering but idk
