Dutch Passion Who is this new guy, anyways?

To be honest I may not have much experience on autos or growing but you have to consider the genetics of the ruderelis. Can the life of them be at a minimum if conditions are perfect or maybe prolong with the way they are treated. My first crop were only 20 inches maximum in height and the five plants averaged about 90 gram but this was due to getting carried away with training. I basically topped them literally snapped branches being to rough supercropping them over fed topped the tops then fimmed the new ones. Growth was stunted but the framework of the branches and structure was super solid. So surely if you stunt the growth would that not prolong it and vice versa.

Thanks Marty. I have been quite interested in them, and some of the other breeders Med/High CBD strains. Hopefully there will be some smoke reports here in the next couple of months to help me decide. While pain management is the most important thing, I do like to have a bit of stone or high.

I have both Dp CBD varieties incoming. Once they arrive I will be growing them out and doing indepth smoke and grow reports. I wil have to stunt them on purpose so they fit into my stealth cab though. I have a funny feeling they will indeed get you high as well help with the pain factor(BOth are 10%thc/9%cbd).

I am looking forward to those reports, GS!

My experience with 1/1 ratio strains has been pain relief, uplifted, and mild euphoria. Really well suited for daytime or just before being with people who are cool but not cannabis cool. In-laws anyone?

Some more indica leaning CBD strains are coming out too, so I will be watching for those as well as strains with Med-High/Med-High ratios like "Annihilator Kush".
THC/CBD was 17/7 It was very heavy and best of all pain relief was lasting. Wish I could find seeds or clones.

Sorry about the tangent- I just had a half-bowl of some very nice Mango indica. :smokeit: OMG another tangent!

Nice sounds great. I haven't grown much high cbd stuff yet, but I plan to. Sounds like Annilator Kush would be awesome in tincture!

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. I know I watered them the wrong way. And they were in big 5 gal pots. After harvest, the root mass was a bit smaller than I expected, but did go all the way to the fabric and nothing was rotten.

There was no aggressive LST. The stronger one had her main stem and branches tied down a bit and the other one just her main to even the canopy. It does slow them down a bit, but everything seemed normal up to the final few weeks. Mid flower, a small branch broke on the weaker one when I was careless turning her pot. Duct tape and wire didn't save it, so it was an early sample.

Well I decided to grow out my last Sour D seeds. They are soaking now. If they all germinate, I will do a quick SOG so I can get back to autos sooner.

Ive done some recent root base stunting and now I am planning on utilizing the semi controlled stunting techniques on bigger strains so I can keep their size down in my limited space steath cab(which only has 30" from the top of the pots to the lights surface). Wish me luck!! 8 plants in 56"long 16" deep cab.

Have you grown sour d before? How are they one pain if so?

Yes, Crop King's version. SD is OK for moderate pain days when I need to get stuff done, but I have to be careful because a little too much can encourage anxiety. It works fine in ointment. For Sativa effects, I find Amnesia Haze and Trainwreck much better for pain. I have seen autos of those :) But after the winter holiday$ I want to use the SD up before spending, and after that it has to be an indica.

The SD stretch like crazy, so this time I will veg 3 weeks. I have a 2x2 tent, 5'3'' feet tall. I had to re-hang my filter vertically to give my lights more height! Now I have a little more than 4 feet from soil to lights.
