Dutch Passion Who is this new guy, anyways?

Any advice on a tincture or lotion for an elderly relative with breast cancer. Was thinking coconut oil and I have some shea butter but would this even work or any ideas will be most appreciated

Yes, Crop King's version. SD is OK for moderate pain days when I need to get stuff done, but I have to be careful because a little too much can encourage anxiety. It works fine in ointment. For Sativa effects, I find Amnesia Haze and Trainwreck much better for pain. I have seen autos of those :) But after the winter holiday$ I want to use the SD up before spending, and after that it has to be an indica.

The SD stretch like crazy, so this time I will veg 3 weeks. I have a 2x2 tent, 5'3'' feet tall. I had to re-hang my filter vertically to give my lights more height! Now I have a little more than 4 feet from soil to lights.

Ahh I have a bunch of Autoflower portal Sour D auto I have been meaning to try. I did a couple of sour d mangos and they were big autos.

I'd start a thread in the medical section on this one. Many more responses.

Well, of course I can't give medical advice, but if you look around there are many articles about cancer which mention the 1/1 ratio CBD strains. Some of them are even named for people who were cured.

Not a tincture, but some people treat their cancer with a potent crude extract that's sometimes called Pheonix Tears. I bought a 20%/20% version made from Hailies Comet from my collective. Not sure I spelled that right. I think it helped my pain, but vaping and tincture are easier to titrate, not to mention more economical. Oops, I mentioned it.

You are bang on. I use coconut oil. It is full of MCT's which readily absorbed and used by the body. It keeps its properties even if yo heat it which helps make it a good solvent. It doesn't take much to rub coconut oil in which is a bonus if the area is tender.

Cocoa butter or Shea butter will work too, just not as well, in my opinion and coconut is much less expensive.

The tricky part is getting the right consistency. You can follow some recipes, but a lot of it has to do with the temperature in your region. In fact my last batch is a bit thinner than hand lotion and I had to switch to pumps instead of jars. Works just the same.

:redcross: I don't recommend putting homemade lotion on cut or broken skin!

Nice if you have the room or suitable outdoor space. I can't hike anymore, but I might ask a trusted friend to plant that Mazar seed for me this spring and see what happens.
