Dutch Passion Who is this new guy, anyways?

Thanks for the tape-tip. I have an empty pen barrel that will do the trick.

Well, I gave the poor girls a couple more days, but yesterday I culled them and shut everything down.
Time to give everything a good cleaning. I will throw away this soil just in case.

In addition to the strains suggested, I've looked at some autos that have strong THC plus high CBD. I have my eye on a couple, but suggestions for heavier strains are always welcome. I will be around, learning over the next 3-4 months until after I harvest some photo's. I may plant that last Mazar seed one day, after I have had a bit more experience with these newfangled auto critters.

Dutch passion have just dropped some new CBD stains, they may be of some interest to you.

Hey great to meet you man!
Ive grown a ton of strains from DP and others and I have had exceptional results from every DP seed I have sprouted, especially the autos. Last year I grew out 11 different DP strains. My best for severe chronic nerve pain has been DP's Blueberry photo.
I just germinate in damp paper towel in a bag, no soaking and I have never had a germination problem with DP, 100% germination. I have yet to try out an Automazar yet though...

Good luck on your future grows!

It's really worth giving Auto a second try once you get your photo harvest in. I'm a photo grower i switched to Autos last oh I don't know, August I guess. I have found that I can grow some really large plants in a short amount of time and control my environment much better with 24 hour light schedule.

I just grew a Dutch Passion power plant CBD Autoflower that I expect to yield a little over a pound. I'm going to have it tested for CBD and THC content. It's listed as a 70 day strain I took at the 82 days and it was just cloudy at that time. I would have liked to got some Amber, but I process most of my cannabis into Edibles and I can get the Amber effect simply by longer decarb.

Do you ever use any late bloom boosters like the powdered Kool bloom? I find that helps me get a better terpene profile at least to my nose and better oil content. I think it may actually help with the speed up ripening also.

I too am an old school photo grower...been tossing down various photo strains for over 25years. Started autos 3 years ago and am super impressed with results. It did take a bit of fine tuning to get them to work in my often cool outdoor climate.

Thanks jingo. I use the liquid KB. The guys at the garden store say they use the powdered KB, so when I saw the flowers were not bulking at 13 weeks, I gave it a try. These two plants did not even seem to notice. I suspect the issues were due to watering 5 gal pots as I would photo's.

I have always used this brand of soil, but considering the trouble I had with the ones I just pulled, I wonder if this brand is too hot for this strain.

Speaking of terpines, I tried the Floralicious supplement in my last Pink Kush grow. I am amazed at how much stinkier and oilier they were. I gave some to the guy at the collective, and his wife commented on how greasy and sweet they were.

Thanks Marty. I have been quite interested in them, and some of the other breeders Med/High CBD strains. Hopefully there will be some smoke reports here in the next couple of months to help me decide. While pain management is the most important thing, I do like to have a bit of stone or high.

Thanks GS. I like the effects of Blueberry (indica), and love the flavors. I have never grown it, but when the collective has some I usually pick up a treat.
It was one of the DP Auto contenders when I chose the Mazar. I have been looking at some other Blueberry crosses as well.

:toke:I really do appreciate the encouragement!
I'm certainly not fine tuning yet- when it comes to autos my A string is still as flat as a G# :rolleyes1:
