Indoor White Goblin & Jack Auto

Hi AFN

I am currently on my 3rd grow and although my plants look healthy they seem rather small for their age. its now almost 40 days and although im seeing preflower they aren't gaining height. Could this just be the strain.

I have 1 x White Goblin and 2 x Jack Auto both from freedom of seeds. So that is the 3 im concerned about. Also have a Green poison Auto which seems fine. i think !

I am using JAB multi + ji + perlite
7.5 litre pots
125 watt Blue CFL

Temps are 28 lights on and 20 lights off on a 20/4

I don't know about humidity.

Im feeding them every 4 days 500ml of Ashbeck mineral water @ ph 6.2

What i don't get is in the past Ive been using 8 X 23 watt. warm white CFL's throughout my previous grows from start to finish...and had a decent yields.

On this grow ive upgraded to a 125 watt Blue CFL. and id expect to have switched to my red 125w CFL by now. But i dont know if i should.

Judging by the photos what do you guys think ?

I think i wont be buying seeds from world of seeds again. it seems like nobody grows strains from this vendor. i cant seem to find any info relevant to white goblin or jack auto.

they look fine to me bro maybe there building there roots up to get ready for a bud growth explosion
I've had auto flowers stall for a week or so then shoot up retarded tall

They look pretty healthy mate. I've not come across these strains before, did the right up state how long till harvest? How long was it till they showed preflowers? It's possible they take a bit longer to finish than other auto's, but you'll find most take about 11-12 weeks so they're only half way through their cycle. I'd let em go another week on the blue spec then switch to red.
Also what's your on/off times for the lights, 20/4... 18/6... ?

Ah yea i never considered looking at the right-up on the seeds card case. They started to show signs of preflower on around day 38 its now 42 days since i started on the 3rd of may.

i got them on a 20/4 I doubt ill be playing about with World of seeds strains in the future. I am somewhat disappointed in this grow.

I got myself a tub of treacle and was planning using some of that to see if that would perk them up abit.

Hi Kandy

Your plants look nice and healthy - i agree with what the others have said, keep it going on and hopefully they'll blow up soon.
What are your temps like around the plant canopy? If possible, maybe raise that CFL just a touch to try and encourage some vertical growth, but they look nice!! I would think these three should provide you with enough smoke to last 11-12 weeks while your next grow is going on

If you'd like some recommendations, i've seen Think Different, StarRyder and Auto Mazzars from dutch passion turn into monsters - Or check out the BOM competitions to see what strains are rocking.

Greetings Kandykush, Your ladies look nice and healthy to me mate. Freedom of seeds description of their White goblin state that they're short to medium plants with a yield of 15-25 grams indoors or 15-18 grams outdoors which would indicate that they're not going to get very big. I suppose it's unusual (and maybe refreshingly honest) for a breeder to advertise a strains output to be so low, when most go for the line of promising massive yields lol! I've looked at their seeds before and one thing that put me off was that they state its best to grow them under a 12/12 light cycle as this would result in denser tighter buds? when i thought the general consensus for growing true autoflowers was that a 12/12 cycle would reduce yield and quality? I wouldn't worry about the height too much and would say it's more about how many bud sites she's producing, I had a DP snowstorm II that was only 50cm's but still gave me 35g's. Freedom of seeds say 50-60 days from seed but that's probably under a bigger light so under 125w cfl you'll probably have to add an extra 2-3 weeks? Be careful with the ashbeck mineral water too, i used it on my 1st grow but bottled mineral water often contains a lot of sodium and a few other things that could be harmful? I now fill my ashbeck bottle up with tap water and let stand for 24 hours before using, i've had much better results since ditching the mineral water. Your plants look good though so i guess it's just a game of patience! Good luck with rest of your grow mate

I got a jack auto running also buth from herbies. Canabis cup winner 30-35g dryed i ben told.
Maybe not great yield buth its a winner
