Hah.
By the looks of things. Im quite happy with the jack auto's they are far from what i expected. im sure its the jacks that are leaving the pungent aroma that happens to be lingering around my flat. Shitty thing is though is the Grampian police have passed my house 4 times in 1 hour and its starting to freak me out !!

If you have problems with the smell, which it sounds like you do, get yourself some ONA blocks or neutradol. Will help to temporarily mask the odour. You can get neutradol from wilkos for like £1.50 or something. I used them before I got my filter and they definitely helped. Anything to keep the law from the door.

Hi Kandy

I agree with smokey that Ona can help - i've used it in the past, but long term you are better off getting a more powerful out take fan and really suck those stinky aromas from the cupboard and through a carbon filter.

It's the only thing that worked for me!

I have been playing around with burning incense sticks which seems to make a great difference. but those ONA blocks are defo on my wishlist.

Just use the old jedi mind trick the next time they drive past, wave your hand and tell them "these are not the plants you're looking for" lol. It's probably only coincidence but going through something similar myself, i live on an estate that used to have a rep for car thieves and various other scoundrels, i planted a seed outside a couple of weeks back more as an experiment to compare with my indoor plants since then i swear every bloody night the police chopper has been hovering over the vicinity of my house, now i know with rational thinking they're not sending it out every night at ten grand a go to search for my tiny seedling but still it's not doing my nerves any good! add to that i think i've cursed the British summer as it's done nothing but piss it down with rain since, i keep having to bring the little one in to dry out which has also knackered my back lifting the huge ceramic pot she's in, think i'll stick to the tent in future lol!

Sorry to hear about your green poison, i really hope it's not the water issue or i'll feel terrible! if you think it's going hermie try and pick the knackers off if you catch them early you may be ok, i did this with a pineapple express and it ended up flowering just fine.

Hah ska'd 4 life. Yea its coincidence for sure. The local neds are bringing unwanted attention into my neighborhood. I see the police every night. and last night after i saw them 4 times or so within the hour. they parked across the road from me. 3 of them got out and started walking towards the end terraced private let which i reside in.... But it was the communal path beside my residence that they headed for. My heart
was thumping. I keep thinking what would happen if i got busted. cheeesus. my landlord and my dad my reputation my job, a criminal record. A night in custody maybe followed by community service and a fine or maybe id get sent to Cornton vale. ewwwww its horrible. pmsl. But it aint going to happen only me and my mum know of this cultivation.

Anyway

As for the summer. the weather here in the North east of scotland has been really good making me consider getting some of that Auto frisian dew and doing a few of those outdoors at a secret location. Defo going to give it a try.

Well I just went off upstairs to check on my grow. and looks like all 4 plants now have signs of yellowing. almost golden brown on some with crispy tips. I pulled off the ones that came away easily and took a few pictures. i think it might be the water. as its disgusting stuff to even drink. I only drink mineral water myself typically volvic. so i gathered that i shouldn't feed my babies tap water if i wont even drink it myself. but don't feel bad. maybe its something other than the water.

Wow, sounds nerve racking! Dealing with the ghetto birds can always get you going for sure. I have a state patrol officer that lives 3 houses down from me. Granted, it's a Colorado State patrol officer, but this same time last year (before legalization) I was puffing a nice fatty in my dining room while I read the morning newspaper at 2pm, and I spotted the state bull walking up to my front door. I was new...ish in the neighborhood (just moved back to the same house after 10 years on the move) but he was BRAND NEW to the neighborhood. Turns out he was just introducing himself to his new neighbors. Nonetheless, my heart was racing as he looked directly at me through the screen door and smiled. What could I do now? I was headed for the clink for sure, right? Wrong! He tells me his name, and points to his new house, while he shows me a picture of his two young children, so I would know where and to whom they belong. I couldn't believe it. To this day, I like to step out front in the morning to get my newspaper, with my cup of coffee and my morning sativa smoke. He is almost always out there in his yard, doing the same (sans the smoke of course). We greet each other with a smile and a wave, and there has never been a sideways look from him. Anyways, I don't wanna hijack your thread...sorry. Just want to let you know. The times...they are a'changin'. Hope the change of ideals makes it to your side of the pond soon. Cheers, L4

PS, kandykush, do you know the ec/ppm/ph of your tap water? Do you know if it is treated with chlorine? Maybe chloramine or chlorine dioxide? This info will really greatly help to understand if your tap water is for sure the issue.

You'd probably just get a caution for a 1st offence and 4 plants, and they'd confiscate your equipment and plants obviously, the bonus with your set up is if that ever happened (which it won't!) you're not losing hundreds of pounds of equipment! unlike a friend of mine who got busted recently with 40 plants, thousands of pounds worth of equipment taken off him and an 18 month prison sentence. His own fault though, got greedy and went down the commercial route.

Damn, i'm gutted that's happening to your girls, many apologies and sending some recovery karma your way, maybe it was the shock of changing mid grow? or as level4refrigeratorclown says you have an exceptionaly high chlorine count? either way i'd switch back to what was working for you before, apologies again and hope they pull through for you.

@ level4refridgeratorclown - lol! thats a funny story man! and yeah hopefully our narrow minded government will get a whiff of whats going down stateside and start a shift in attitude, we usually end up copying all things American eventually so here's hoping! I did once know a guy who was in the C.I.D. (Criminal investigation department) who liked to party as hard as the rest of us at the time and was usually the one with the biggest bag of weed or coke at a party! a really nice guy who made it quite clear he had no interest in our illegal activities, besides we had far more dirt on him anyway! we nicknamed him 'the bad lieutenant' lol!

its been a very busy month and its been a while since i last updated this. So ill try and keep it simple. Thanks for the karma and stories.

i don't have long to spare on here so future reference and those interested

i only have 2 plants left out of the 4 i had. i donated 1 and smoked the other (the other) being A Green Poison Auto which i believe turned into a hermi.

Alot happier now for my other 2 below . more room and are looking fine.
