Tell you what MOB, these RocBudInc strains have been some nice plants! The Grape Rolex is some of the frostiest stuff i have done in a while! Really nice to have some variety, but really good is even better!!

I’ll have to put on hit list for sure - my next grow might be just a single plant in an Original ..... one single plant monster like ripleys og .....

I’m still not sold on having a tap root go into the water growing thru the soil screen - that could be a problem with nutrient uptake from the reservoir ...... I noticed a month or so ago 24k reservoir smelled, so I dumped and put new water in with a little extra Mammoth P and all was fine - then I happened across an article about EarthBox and leaching issues - water dripping back down into the tank with high PPM - I then thought about my experience and the smell ..... so my concern about a tap root sitting in water is suspect ......... in a few days I’m tearing apart 24k box and see what we have with her root system and will do same with Nugs and Goldie - all those soils were leftovers of this and that that I put together so not going to recharge, rather will use in garden as I wanna take a good look at their root systems.

You have my interest in that one as well. Especially since it seems MG doesn't have much for seeds for sale in the states anymore. I looked the other day and they had 2 choices, that's it.

Fwiw I used Orca pretty regularly and I could see pearly white roots in my feeding tube. I agree with you that it very well could cause an issue. The Juniors are much smaller than the Originals and the roots will take longer to reach the rez. Making it less likely to really establish water roots. I have had decent root systems on the under side of the screen. Roots seek moisture, so in that small space roots are going to eventually work there way down to the water. My rationale for adding Orca to the rez is to keep the roots that are in the rez happy and avoid any foul smells. I also have not been overflowing my rez, and backed off watering in general. Basically adding the same amount everyday and it drinks it up by the next time I water. So no water sitting around to get skanky.

You have my interest in that one as well. Especially since it seems MG doesn't have much for seeds for sale in the states anymore. I looked the other day and they had 2 choices, that's it.

I will go grab a bud and take a random pic. You will see what Im talking about! It is now about dried and will be going into jars tomorrow. You wont be disappointed if you pic up a pack of Roc Bud Inc seeds, I have been pleasantly surprised to be honest! I tried another US breeder, but wasnt pleasantly surprised. But thats ok, I just wont buy again. But I have done 5 Roc Bud Inc strains and bought 4 more. So Im happy.

That's killer looking dude! Does it have a grape smell?
I might have to get me some of that. Do they sell direct or do you use a seedbank?

He has a website rocbudinc dot com. Can’t speak for Purple Rolex but Grape Rolex has artificial grape smell like grape koolaid powder. Grape god too dense and so covered in frost buds look white. Every strain I’ve done has come out very Nice.
