When can you call a strain yours, if ever?

There's over millions of different strains. I doubt someone is going to make the same exact crosses cuts is you.

Ah But @Jcloud777 ..what about the Theory that Breeders Do all make the Same cross over and over again...?....
Because Most breeders do have a similar set of Traits in mind when we breed...?....

ie..fastest heaviest yield in the shortest amount of time.......so we keep pulling the same old Classic out of a cross.

Like I have an IBL from my dad, that only him and I have. That he kept the heritage of it like a secret to me, even after giving me seeds and telling me I better not give any clones out of it. He recently revealed the whole heritage to me, but it was slow coming and took like 6 months of occasionally asking questions he'd ignore haha.

Old style breeder......they never told you exactly what went In..or you could all be making the same thing....

I was Taught to look for the cross that they Didn't mention was in it......that's the Secret.

Yeah I've been following Fullduplex's threads on the ALF lines and their heritage. That's why I'm so interested in it, because I have access to a lot of landrace Indicas, and crosses of landrace indicas that are unique to our area. I think I'm going to hold out for that ALF [HASHTAG]#5[/HASHTAG], I want some fucking weed baseball bats in my grow room, I'm not even going to front haha.

From 1st Feb 2019 she will be Out for her Live Trial......Watch & See how she does.

I usually use my eyes for the structure, health etc.

Count & Compare.
The more Balanced a cross is..the stabler the genetics....the human eye is trained to Look for it...natural selection.

Then my nose for everything else.

My Blue Dragon is at F7! And your Black Dragons and Dragon's Blood are great also. I'm doing a Black Dragon mini SOG right now, just started! I'll be growing 30 Black Dragons in small pots.

I may have continued to refine them, but they are still your creations! I've done nothing but grow them really.

I have heard that, but I also heard it's near impossible to find the original northern lights. Everything is so watered down. On google they lie about the OG kush parantage. It's so watered down I think the potency degraded alot. But your right about so many things getting recrossed over and over. If the northern lights isn't what it originally was. I wonder what todays northern lights is? I saw a youtube video talking about it yesterday. The channel is called future cannabis project. I think y'all will really enjoy

Original Northern lights still exists and can be bought from Sensi. The breeder who took it commercial from clones gifted to him was Neil Schoenmaker who then developed it into the commercial strain that is world famous. So the orignal still exists. and as far as OG Kush goes, it was a simple hybrid that anyone could create and all the tales about the orginal are nothing more than myths, its even been suggested it never existed all all till someone made up the story in order to sell some Hindu Kush cross they'd made. Most origin tales of cannabis strains are myths or outright bullshit, and need to be taken with a grain of salt........ and a shot of tequila

The one dude who says he created OG Kush and Bubba Kush is just ridiculous. Claims he had no idea what a Hindu Kush was, and came up with the word Kush completely randomly and independently. When I read his interview in High Times I lost a lot of respect for High Times for taking him serious.

The other story of a guy breeding Lemon Thai with various Pakistanis, Afghans, and Hindu Kush. Then giving the cuts and seeds to his friends when he moved to Australia actually makes sense, and even explains the various cuts.

Like now I see people that just the use the name OG whenever they use, afghan, Pakistani or Hindu Kush in the cross. So I don't put too much stock on the title OG.

Pretty much everything we have is a cross of Afghan, Skunk and Northern Lights at some point. The lineage of most Dutch strains are almost exactly the same.

My understanding is that GDP was originally a clone only strain. That Ken used bag seed from and has changed his story a few times.

I knew they had the real northern lights. But if you watch future cannabis project. These old heads were saying northern lights is very hard to find. Wonder why they said that then?
