What is the best lighting cycle for autos?

First grow I went with 24/0 for first 4/5 weeks then went to 20/4. Had read a lot and felt I just wanted to give my girls rest.

This time around temperatures meant I've ran 24/0. Not harvested yet but seem very healthy week 8. Grown AKR each time and seems to be finishing quicker this time, which makes sense (and implies to me that 24/0 is best for full autos....). Time will tell.

One thing I've noticed is that this time I've got longer internodes and buds up noticeable stalks. Last time the buds were on top of a very level bush, if you get me. From reading I think this may have been caused by the large differences between high/low temps this time compared to last grow which were very close, rather than lighting.

Next grow.... temps wont be an issue. I think I'll likely stick 24/0 though.

Off topic but anyone have suggestions for a decent size but not to large size of pot to transplant into? my six great white sharks are at 1 week 1 day and roots are showing at bottom of pot they are in now...I have 5 gallon pots but seems at the spacing they have in the 5 gallons there isn't enough light hitting all six with my single 400 watt MH . So does anyone have some advice for another size to transplant into? Or another method that has worked best in the past for yah?

Thanks y'all!

Everything I have read says that transplanting autos is bad. I would not transplant, if it were me. Autoflowers apparently do not like it, and it can seriously stunt their growth. I'm not saying it can't be done, but I wouldn't do it. Especially if you are trying for monsters..

Posting because this thread stays at the top of my subbed threads for some reason. It always says I posted in it "today". Hoping a post will fix the glitch..

But, for the record, here are my girls at day 34 on 24/0 lighting.. I will be giving them a 12 hour dark period tonight to see if I can get them to flip the switch, as I feel like they are a bit late to flower..

I have an off topic question for anyone...I have an unusual issue of to low of humidity in my tent. Is 20% going to stress the guys too much? During the day temps are 75 degrees and humidity is 20%. During the night the temps are 65 degrees and the humidity is 70%. What I'm worried about is the humidity to low at night? And is that going to stress them out to much? I know when I go to harvest they are getting complete darkness/flush/ low humidity. But for now what are y'all thoughts?

I wouldn't worry about the low humidity as much as I would the high of 70%, that could be a big problem during flower time. Just my 2 cents though, I'm no expert.

No, but that high humidity could cause some mold or bud rot.

Only symptoms I'm having that are a little nerve wrecking is the leaves are sagging a bit not "fluffed out and up" like they should be. I left the setup to run 24/7 now which fixed the high humidity problem. But now I still have the low humidity of 20%. Will that have serious effects? I've tried humidifier, ive tried pans of water, and towels hanging. but nothing gets humidity above 25% should I change my exhaust setup? Right now it's...

Presh filter<ducting<mh/hps<ducting<exhaust fan<ducting out... Before I changed my setup to the cooling style. It was warmer in there but not to hot for worries. Right at 75 degrees...so the next question is should I go back to just having

Presh filter<ducting<fan<ducting out? Humidity then was up to 50-60%
