It probably won't have any serious effects. It might help to turn your exhaust fan down if you can. I'm sure it won't hurt your plants but they just might not perform to their full potential. I wouldn't sweat it too much honestly.

Okay thank you for the advice good sir. I have a speed controller for the exhaust but it's on low now. So I'll have to just deal with the low humidity for the time being.

Hopefully the humidity picks up where I live. It's so fricken dry out till the fronts come in.

Only symptoms I'm having that are a little nerve wrecking is the leaves are sagging a bit not "fluffed out and up" like they should be. I left the setup to run 24/7 now which fixed the high humidity problem. But now I still have the low humidity of 20%. Will that have serious effects? I've tried humidifier, ive tried pans of water, and towels hanging. but nothing gets humidity above 25% should I change my exhaust setup? Right now it's...

Presh filter<ducting<mh/hps<ducting<exhaust fan<ducting out... Before I changed my setup to the cooling style. It was warmer in there but not to hot for worries. Right at 75 degrees...so the next question is should I go back to just having

Presh filter<ducting<fan<ducting out? Humidity then was up to 50-60%

Got any pictures? do you leave a fan running at nigh?

I do now. Lol and changed my entire setup..... Went with LEDs and put out 1200 watts now :) switched from HPS and saving money now too

I have always used 24/0 , this time tried 20/4 due to reading this site ,and holy cow I seen a big difference in density ! I never ever go back to 24/0.

Sane just my 2 cents sir. I too had a humidity falling and staying in the low teens at times. What I did and (advice from this site) it worked was I took a small bucket of water soaked towel and dropped it over side of bucket sort of dipped in the water. It did raise levels up indeed. You will be surprised how much evaporates . Good luck!

I've found no difference in 24/0 or 18/6, in fact, I use 16/8 and I MAY be sacrificing a little, but I doubt its enough to make it worth using more power. I think its more important to run your light as close to the plants as they will allow without burning. Every strain seems to have a difference in tolerance I've go some I can run the lights wthhin 12" of them others no more that 16-18"

24/0 energy guys is what they want auto means auto. Rudirellas grows in 60 days under 22 hours to 24 hours of day light. Mother nature gave them 60 days to get as big as possible to carry on the rudy strain. I will never deviate from 24/0
