Old Reviews What's the best HID hood

Hi all, getting ready to go HID and was wandering what the best air cooled hood is to by. My grow area is approx. 5 x 5.
Planing on a 600 watt system. My cord output has to be 120v.

cool tube reflectors are the cats meow.
just the ticket size wise and cost alot less
than the big metal and glass hoods.

Depends on the coverage. Raptors are nice if you need to cover a big area.

Anybody try those parabolic ones? I suppose there hard to vent the heat off of, but they look like they give a good light dispersion...IDK...Just curious...

When using a cooled hood, do you loose any lumens with the lens?

Go with the Magnum xxxl 6 or xxxtreme hoods since you have a 5x5 area. those spread the light real well
