No it was not me. I do not remember who was using them. I just use tomato cages set in concrete, top autos once, minimal defoliation from underneath for good air flow. These are my current girls.
I was actually thinking of doing something similar to tomato cages. I'd like to create base plate to fit in pot. From that base a grid pattern of rods are attached. So you put that in pot and put in soil (or secure another way). That way you have a lot of potential tie off points to minimize stress and also be able to have a lot of control.
As you can see I grow in rock wool cubes. I tried a bunch of losing ways before this method. I would have to lay my plant down on the floor to get a picture before these cages. I think this is my third grow with these? They are especially good for a lazy farmer .
