Its not what they cost, but what they are worth.
If you sell them, you will never get back what they are worth.
If you sell them your wife/husband. Will pester you forever about the loss ( cost vs worth)...
And now my stupid advice.
Keep them.
Let them gather dust.
And in your bubble that nobody will ever understand. Look at at them from time to time.
And tell yourself these words...
One day, in a jam...these lights will bail you out for 24hrs.
Don't sell or get rid of the lights.
Its not what they cost you.
Question what they are worth.

there still worth ok money alot of folks are still using hps ive got a meizhi 900w a viperspectra 600w dimmable and a kingbo 1000 w low power i was thinking of throwing mine on ebay also i used to grow proper big harvest and decent weed to boot with them

Yeah, i mean I ran them and was happy with what was produced. The wattage and heat I was never quite happy with though. But there's no doubt they work and worked well.

Thought about Craigslist, but am a little leary about advertising lights. Obviously I'd go code words of some kind, but I don't know. I'm sketchy about that. My profile is extremely low for a reason. A lot to lose. I'm not in what you'd call a "friendly" state unfortunately. Though we did or I should say, about to decrim up to an Oz. Doesn't do much for me, but moving in the right direction.

Hahaha, excellent!! And yeah, it's silly as fuck but I just hate to toss them. Shit, ill make a table out of em or something hahaha. But you are correct in that you never know, they may come in handy one day. Can't think of when that day would be hahaha, but it's possible. Thanks man.

Well I know you not to sell anything here and I'm not trying to break any rules as I'm a law abiding citizen and all. But thanks for all the help guys. It's crazy, I started out on a ton of forums and have pretty much weeded (hahaha) them all out but this one and one or two others. Just due to the people. I have never met "more always right" people in my life. I don't know where they all live, but it must be a wonderful place full of riches and pure happiness. This place is def more my speed. Where you can actually speak to people without being "told" how to do anything. So thanks everyone, for being fucking "normal" haha.

What would a good option be?

Hey, sorry to hear that, if I were in an illegal location, I would be reluctant to advertise too. The amount of money involved probably does not warrant risk of exposure.

Other forums sometimes incorporate classified ad sections, so if the interest exists, I see no reason why the same could not be done here. What this site could offer is anonymity which might be more trustworthy than ebay or craig'slist. I know this would mean more work for already overstretched volunteers, but it is also possible that a bit of revenue could be generated.

Perhaps this has all been hashed over already, in which case I apologize for an unhelpful suggestion.
