Grow Mediums what nutes would you recommend for a newbie using coco?

I grow in coco too and I also use a non coco nite. I run flora trio mgb with liquid koolbloom big bud over drive and botanicare cal mag.

I agree with unique. I like to make sure my ph is spot on before watering my girls rather than trust a product that may or may not work.

But as it was mentioned above nites are more of a personal preference than anything. You have to find a brand that appeals to you and claims to do what youre looiing for it to do. Dont buy because of a brand name or because 1 person tells you they got a pound with a certain brand, nutes are pretty much the same thing, different companies make you pay more and some make you pay less. Just depends on which direction you want to go.

yes, I let price determine which brand I am using... But I pretty much stick to them two brands, I'm used to them...I get great results with them.. I wouldn't really change to another nute type....I'm quite happy with them products and they very affordable. even for the poor like myself!

yes, basically you can get by with just them 4... I prefer 3-part base nutes... I'd wouldn't ever use anything other then 3-part base.. I find most are pretty much the same, the Jungle Juice-AN or Flora Series-GH, both are exact imo and work great in coco

What is AN Jungle Juice? Is that Advanced Nutrients? I have not look at AN but see it mentioned so often. Checked out their website and there are so many products its confusing the first time.

Anyway, I'm a rookie yes and I ask stupid questions etc. But can you be more specific with brand/products that are 3 part simple to use?

I started using coco about 2 months ago and ill never go back to soil and I use the Lucas formula and I've not had the first problem yet maybe I've been very lucky but the main thing is the ph I go around 5.8 to 6.0 I'll switch it up a little and it helps or seems to on mine..But like most said each has there own as long as it's a good nutrients and you use it at 1/2 or so strength you will be fine.

No question is stupid the ones u don't ask is ..But go on a site and look up the Lucas formula I use it and love it from start to finish

In search the coco board here I found posts that said you should not use lucas with coco. There is a modified version of Lucas for coco I think.

I've been using Hesi Coco Bloom recently.. Super simple, 3ml/ltr in veg and 5ml/ltr in bloom. EC is between 0.8 and 1,25, PH is always 5.8-6.0. One bottle is all you need.. GH Maxibloom/Novabloom is another alternative.. KISS

I can't find the exact product name you listed. There is Bloom Complex. There is Coco something. can you post a link to the product you are talking about just so I get it right?

Thanks for that link. Definitely could not find that product on my own. I am in Canada and it looks like this product is not exported to Canada. But I'll ask Hesi in NL.
