allow to drain for a few minutes then drop the seed in...i make a hole with a pen

flick a bit of compost on top and put a plastic bag over it

mine go by my extract filter where it is warm in a soup bowl with a handle on so i can pick it up easily.

They seem to like my method. natural air pruning till i raise the water level and let the roots go


These are about 8 inches above the water level.....roots like air. When im ready i will raise the water level and these will go berserk.

Nice man. I'm glad I found your thread. I'd like to get into hydro some, just kinda intimidated by the whole ordeal. Mostly just keep the water right pH and nutrient wise. I might try something small first then build my way up. I've got plenty of 3 Gallon buckets with lids. And you just use the compost essentially as a plug, to start them off in?
