Actually it depends on the shape of the rooms.. if you can hide cables, fair dos. It's cheaper and probably works better.. not really an option in 'ere tho..
No, it doesn't fill up at all. You switch it on and it gets stuck on the sucky drainy bit before it starts doing anything.
Open the door and it continues. Could be as simple as a blocked pipe, it's just the fact that it runs with the door open that's convinced me it's fook'd.
