Just curious as to if anyone else has grown this strain and haven't really got a smell off of these plants, I'm on day 42 now and really can't smell anything, there's not even a need to put my carbon filter on at this point. Is it something where one day these are just going to kick in smell wise over night or what?

hey Chris, I am not there yet so I can't answer you but I would like to know when did your plant start flowering? Is it around day 36 (suggested on your post/pic), did you give them any bloom nutes before that? I am trying to estimate the flowering time of my plants and I don't have a filter yet just wondering how much time till I need one, and if they really don't stink that might actually a good news for me.

thanks for the tips about misting the plants to reduce stress, that really helps.

I don't remember the exact day as for flowering, but it was around day 30 I started seeing some, as far as bloom nutrients is concerned after I started seeing pistols and such I waited a few days after then gave the plants a quarter strength of bloom nutrients be really easy on the dosage at first make sure your plants can handle what you give them, if you don't see any nute burns gradually increase as time goes on. If I see the slightest bit of yellowing tips or any nute burn signs the next feeding I will give it just water.
As far as the smell I'm really puzzled these things don't even have a strong smell right when you put your nose up to them, who knows though they might be the kind where you wake up one day and the whole area stinks..

Hey bud...just checking out ur ladies and thought id offer a lil advice...I just finished an Ak47 grow..diff breeder though. Generally you don't want to start your bloom nutes until your vertical growth has stopped and it looks to me like yours still have a bit too go. Same goes for your light change..signs of flower does not mean the plant is in bloom...anyway hope this helps ya a bit amd if you have any ?'s id be glad to help ya out. ..keep up the awesome work on those sexy lil ladies:)
Cheers
JT

Oh ya...as for the smell...it def kicks up a whole lot!lol be ready:) it goes from 0-stank in no time! All the luck

i still wonder if its ok for me not to have a filter if i live alone in an apartment 4plants with widows closed, right now its just leafy smell.

They will stink to high heaven mate don't leave it to chance, get a carbon filter and avoid jail. It costs next to nothing in comparison!

Peace

Day 45 Update

Lowered the light today, went full strength on the nutrients I'm using, still really no smell, haven't even had to turn on my carbon filter yet. Buds are fattening up extremely slowly to me, hopefully they will kick it up a notch soon.

They'll start to fatten up before you know it. One day you'll look in on them and won't even remember how small they were when they started.Your grow is looking good man.
