My internet wanderings yesterday led to looking up how to get a dispensary or retail cultivation license....only $60,000 for the permit fee, plus $10,000 for the application fee.

I say we all get together and start an AFN Co-Op.

They're capping the initial number of licenses they'll grant at 450, but the bill includes provisions for "social equity applicants"...

I initially thought that meant your typical minority / woman / vet-owned / small-business type carve outs, but no...they mean:

Well shit. I thought not getting caught when my girls made the papers twice was a good thing. I did get convicted of smoking a bowl while fishing. Wonder if that’s enough?
