Hello everyone...:toke:...it's been quite a while since I have grown a photo period plant and I have a few photo seeds in the vault..:d5:...One of the most successful grows and potent plants I have ever grown is a Purple Ayahuasca by Barneys Farm, so I was thinking maybe I would try and germinate one of these and I happened to mention it in one of my(too many)threads......then a fellow brother of the grow, @NG420 , told me a bit.....in just a couple of sentences, what this strain meant to him.....and it touched my heart tbh :smiley1:......that's why this one is for JB.
I asked @NG420 if he would like to write a bit about JB for the opening page and he kindly replied.....

Vapo Grows Purple Ayauascha for JB:

Hey guys, NG420 here... Here is a short prelude to this thread, i would like to express my utmost gratitude to vapo69 for taking the time to remember and honour my mother JB. I have written a short passage to try and sum up in words who she was.

A mothers love, is something that cannot be recreated or described. A mother loves her child with every fibre of her being. The connection between mother and child is woven into the fabric of the universe since the beginning of time. Never faltering or fading, it is possibly one of the strongest connections that any human can experience. This is something i am sure every mother and child feels.

My mum was special, she was a very sick lady for most of her life. I don't want to dwell too much on her health conditions... but in a nutshell she was first diagnosed with Syringomyelia in 1996... This lead to life or death brain surgery... She survived and astounded her Drs and specialists... Her memory was preserved, she knew who she was, the surgery was a success and still had some of her motor abilities... She powered on and re learnt to write with her opposing hand, eat, wash etc. I was 6 years old at the time... For a few years she was getting stronger but then took a turn for the worst and went into a 4 month coma when i was 12. Her internal organs started shutting down from a super rare bug she contracted... Then in 2011 she was diagnosed with TTP after suffering from about 7 major strokes in 3 hours in her sleep. Her health deteriorated gradually... She was eventually freed from torment, a single day after her 63rd birthday in 2017.

Throughout her life... My mother was the best gardener i have ever known and probably ever will. Our garden was brimming with fruits and flowers she would come across and shower with love and they returned her love in abundance. We grew up on fresh veg and fruit grown by our mum, spending Sunday afternoons taking peas out of pods for dinner or picking peaches. You name it, we grew it!!! Marigolds were her favourite flower, so i have planted millions in our front garden, they make me smile whenever i pull up.

I was very close to my mum, so when she departed it hurt. Now it's my time to garden, i feel like she has passed on her green fingers to me... Or i like to hope so. Thanks mum.

So why Vapo and Purple Ayahuasca?

I went to Amsterdam with my girlfriend last year and quite simply put, this strain has a special place in my heart too, just like my mum.

I wasn't in the best place mentally, and to be honest i think i was suffering from depression for over 18 months from losing her. Running a business i didn't want to... going through the motions of life just to exist... Looking for happiness on the outside and neglecting my true emotions.

Anyway, the day that i had this strain is clear in my mind. The first time in 18 months the fog seemed to have lifted. I couldn't stop smiling, I was thankful to be in the moment... but i was thankful for everything. For experiencing the love off my mother since i was bought into the world. Thankful for loving her enough to miss her when i lost her, Thankful for having a mother, Thankful for losing her, so she could teach me, Thankful for her being so sick most of my life, giving me a totally unique and perspective, Thankful for having a girlfriend who cares so much about me, Someone who is real, Thankful i am here to look after my father, Thankful that she gave me vision and morals to love everyone you come into contact with... Since then, i have been unstoppable. I have started and run 3 businesses, excelled in many areas of my profession, but most importantly i am content.

This is longer than i expected... but to finish... if anyone reading this is going through hard times on ANY front in their life... Money, Love, Health etc... Remember, you can fucking do it. You are a badass. Nothing is bigger than you... We have sent people to the fucking MOON!!!! There are no problems, only answers.

You can get through much more than you think. Persevere, weather the storm, smile and you will look back and think... I DID IT!!!!

Peace,

Love you all.
