Uk and Europe guerrilla grow community.

I just got back from the plot. The location changed slightly as a found an area more secluded nearby, all the grass/ferns have been dug out and I am very surprised by the quality of the soil underneath, it’s very rich and no clay!!! I’ve attached some pics of this mornings work.

when leaving said plot though I did find a cigarette packet quite close by. It’s the only bit of rubbish I found, and I was looking for signs of people walking by and found none. The packet is reasonably fresh, within six months old. This has spooked me a little but I’ll go back to the plot in around two weeks too turn the earth over again and I’ll have another look for evidence of people going near the site.

Did u take Ur own soil to the site and mix with the native soil,,
On my check list i now have,
About 60 autos, mixed strains that got mixed up,
60 l of evergreen compost & 50 l biobizz light mix. Not looking forward to hogging it to the location lol
Blood,fish,bone,. Seaweed fertilizer.
Got some cheap bird netting too just incase,
I like your plan with this site, what way did you pre the ground? Did you just use a spade only, and what amendments did u use and how u apply them?

I just used a spade. I’m gonna try and head back up to the spot tomorrow and scope things out. I’m also hoping I can dig out another 2-3 sites while I’m there and I’m possibly going too abandon the area I’ve dug out. I’m just going to stick with what’s native. I’m a solo operation so carting bags upon bags upon of dirt to the location simply isn’t possible for me. I’ve got lucky though and the native soil look really decent. However, I’m a hydro grower and have next to none experience when it comes to soil. So what’s the best way too dress site the site? I Haven’t a clue of what too put down and when too. Any tips would be great

I got up early this morning to go and dig out the site again but the ground was, and still is, frozen solid. It’s supposed to be mild and wet over the next days so I’ll go and finish the prep work next weekend

Ive got some soil for one site, the bio bizz light mix 50 l it was wrapped tight when it came and would fit into a rucksack easy so I could definitely walks up with the soil and mix it with the natural soil,
Gona look for a few natural soil sites too, and just turn the soil and add amendments,
Made a grow cupboard with a 300w blue cfl to start them all off,
A good friend is sending me the seeds I need to complete the mission and I know they will be excellent as they always are,
Happy growing every1

Haha u love @Diapot, if you don't mind me asking you, does it take long to dig a site up as that's the thing in freaking out about lol, will it take ages, but u seem to be doing well digging Ur sites up so I might as well ask,
I've got 14 started there today in the cupboard in nursery pots and have another 15 in the propagator in jiffy pots, it's 5 different strains that got mixed together and it's a nightmare not knowing what in growing so I'm messing about with these ones as I've got a shit load of excellent seeds on the way to focus on better with decent prepared sites,

It’s easy mate. I just took the turf off the top. I’ll turn over the earth then prior to planting. But you’ll be faced with rocks for sure. If there’s clay there tho near the surface I’d recommend a different site. The worst thing you’ll encounter are tree roots. They’re the real pain too move!

Sweet mate uve put my mind at ease, I'm gona go for it, spade and a pick axe and just go nuts,
Seen a few handy spots on the corners of a few different fields, could possibly try do a few there, but there might be old runoff from farming.
Keeper lit mate il be watching your progress

Snap mate. I’m going up to the site this weekend. I’m itching to buy the seeds and start this thing off but I’ve gotta make sure that everything is safe with site first. Fingers crossed I can buy them this weekend
