Well it makes sense, you can run two as 12/12 instead of just one at 24/0 for the same leccy.

UPDATE TIME... DAY 1 OF FLOWERING !!!

After their first sleep since birth....

They are currently having .......

Growers Ark: Root Tonic 5 ml/L, Coco Grow A&B 2.5 ml/L, Universal Traces 2.5 ml/L, EC 1.5, PH 6.0-6.1

Going to up EC to 1.6 tomorrow as new growth still quite pale green? Will start the transition to flowering nutes in a week.

Now watering twice a day to run off as the pots are well rooted out. Currently approx 1 litre per feed. The two in autopots are being bottom fed a litre at a time and topped up when they've sucked it up. Will add the res on tuesday when some decent PH down arrives. Been using organic stuff and it's awesome - for about 20 minutes! Lol. Can't bloody wait to get the autopot girls going properly - I reckon they are gonna take off!

While I remember I can thoroughly recommend using clay pebbles on top of your coco/soil. Not only does it keep bugs and beasts out, but it makes watering about twice as effective. It's amazing but I can get almost twice as much water in to the pot before getting run off if I use pebbles! It must really avoid channels forming, which just basically take the feed straight out of your pots. Maybe I'm just shit at watering!

They look fine to me dude..,nice bit of growing.just out of interest,what’s your background ec? I would bang them onto an ec of 1.4...think we had a chat,and you said you were including bg ec in your feed? I’d get them on 1.4 without including your bg ec

No! Lol. Won't be going anywhere near that mate.

You mean the pale colour? It's only new growth dude. And there is slight tip burn already if you look very closely. They have been greening out slowly over a couple of weeks after being really pale. Background of my water is 0.7 and I'm feeding at 1.6 including my BG. I know we don't agree on this, but feed EC should ALWAYS include background EC. If you think about it, it doesn't make sense any other way dude. Happy to agree to disagree though!

BUT, I do not want to push my plants at all. Thats just not how I look at growing. Horses for courses. With my background EC i reckon I will hit 1.8 max probably, maybe 1.9 including 0.7 BG. I personally don't agree with the philosophy of pushing plants mate. Not even gonna use any PK additives this run! You're brain's gonna explode mate!

Also, the last thing I wanna do with photos is have them too loaded up with N just as they go into flowering as I believe that's not wise. And I think it will be easier to up the feed than to try and correct over feeding issues.

I could be wrong all round mate, but I'm the sort who can't accept things without trying!
