And eventually they did get a very professional engineer to answer all my questions, even stupid questions.



Well, I was thinking of 2 seeds in each hole. If both seeds germinate... kill the weakling.
I am really pushing my luck getting these to germinate in compacted, overused, root bound soil.
Too late now, maybe next time.

Oh yeah just two weeks ago lol. I was checking every five minutes to see if they grew more. It semed like they were growing so slow and now they just took off.

Day 1 germination...the comedy begins.
Mephisto seeds are FAST, 72 hours and 3 plants are up.
But Triangle Kush won't get up! I started digging... she hasn't cracked her shell. Lazy girl.
She sinks in water, so must be hydrated.

I attacked Triangle Kush with a pair of pliers, and cracked the shell:

Also dropped a fresh seed in the hole and fluffed up the soil.

Day 1 Comedy continues:
White Train is doing a great imitation of a green peanut:

She doesn't want to open her cotyledons. Girl has an attitude problem..
Fine, let her grow weird, but I poked a new hole and dropped a fresh seed.

So what happened to the Triangle Kush seed?
Pulled the shell off, inside looks a corn seed:

Is that a white tail, the first sign of roots? Lets see if it grows...

Seeding 4 plants at the same time is handy to compare growth patterns.
But more important is nailing down the best harvest time for my neurons. I need a week dedicated to vaping samples for each plant. Maybe better to plant one seed each week so the 15 gram harvests are about one week apart?

With 2 containers I could have a continuous harvest... every week a plant would be harvested and a new seed dropped.

Then I can dedicate a whole container to growing my favorite.

Well crap, the comedy continues. The Triangle Kush seed is fine, root tip is growing.
The only problem was between my ears, impatience. My compliments to Mephisto, 4 seeds: 100% germination, I think...

I put the seed BACK into soil. Now I have 2 Triangle Kush growing.
This is getting ridiculous. 9 plants in a 5 gallon container.
Survival of the prettiest.

But the 2nd set of true leaves look healthy and normal.
