Grow Mediums Trial of Firsts

The I wasn't sleeping look

Looks good Screwauger. I have seen great results with flipping to fill and flipping after. I think it just depends on how much time you want to invest in it. I myself would probably flip now and train through the stretch.
Where I am it is going to be really humid in a couple of months. I would have issues with a thick canopy here come end of September.
They do look beautiful. :pass:

Hey thanks very much. I was feeling pressured to switch because the wife and I had a week mid august where we planned to be out of town. My neice was going to monitor the res but I didn't want her to be responsible for training the last 25% or anything. Turn's out, my wife is really into my grow (doesn't use but manages the books) and gave me the safe option to stay home that week and tend to the grow. I am staying home and no longer fell pressured to monitor the stretch before that week.

Appreciate the advice. I am very impatient lol and I vowed I would see what I had on 7/26 after two weeks training. Yeah, only put the screen on them on 7/12 so I am, or was, rushing everything because of that business trip. I will surely seek more advice thanks again.

He looks about my guys age. My lab is pushing 13 and sadly, his old hindend doesn't perform for him but he still gets around okay for an old dude.!!
I found this guy running around a storage unit about 6 years ago. The manager said he had been there for a cpl months and was still lost, so I told him to hop in my truck and he has been the perfect dog since. I wish I did know how old he was though. He stumbles on walks and gets winded fast in the summer, but he still acts like a puppy. I put up signs and posted on cl for a cpl months but no one claimed him. I couldn't ask for a better pal.

That is a great story and you both deserve each other. Mine was a shelter rescue and he still loves to chase squirrels (even if he does fall down) and has a lot of puppy in him still too. Hard to watch them age so fast but sounds like they both have great homes.

All things remain unchanged from the July 19th update. Generally, the Sweet Tooth plant on the right has been a slow grower and started life as a runt. She has made a come back but remains less with less size and less vigor overall. The 8 Ball Kush on the left has been awesome since seedling stage. Much of this is to be expected growing 2 different strains so I am enjoying the challenge the runt is giving me.

Both plants are on the same res and draw water/nutes at their own individual rates. I am going through much more solution these last two weeks.

I did some tucking today and some major trimming under the canopy…

67 Days from sprout
49 Days Veg Growth
42 Days on Autopot Feedings at full strength
14 Days under the scrog

Not paying much attention to ppm’s as I am feeding continuously at a relatively weak rate as compared to manufacturers recs.
Res ppm = 754 pH = 6.0 /Pot ppm = 562 pH = 6.1

Lights to 12/12 tomorrow morning @ 6:00am (Might go another 24-48 at 20/4 given the comprehensive trimming they got today)
