Transplanting Autos Causes Stress. Myth?

Soil temperature?
That might be a full question thought in your head :crying: for cannabis? Germinate at 80°F vegetables in soil are all different.

No, I was wondering about your field planted tomatoes. Their better performance could have been warmer soil temperatures - just wondering.

Transplant I done tonight,

Used the dual-split cup method last night for the 1st time since this is my 1st grow & it worked beautifully. The 2 week old juveniles (Auto King Kong & Massive Midget) never missed a beat. :yay:
I’m going to be using this technique to start other types of seedlings as well
The bags are 7G Vivosuns.

I'm not stating this as a matter of fact but what I believe is happening from my own experience and observation. You can transplant multiple times. As long as you don't beat the roots up and before she starts producing the hormone ethylene, which is the same hormone we target to disrupt when spraying with STS or CS to get her to reverse and produce fem pollen sacs. Why would you want to transplant more than once you might ask? Two reasons I've found useful for myself. 1. Space - I only had 3'x3' tent for indoor space the first couple years of growing and I get picky with who gets to stay. 2. Slow her down - in this instance, I wanted to get her 2 bros to finish dropping pollen so I could collect and do a proper selected pollination on her and a couple other plants. :eyebrows:
- I went from a solo cup to a 2gal air-pot at around day 9-10 days, square cup even (note how soil fell off from being dry) - as long as your gentle, it'll work out.
- Then from the 2gal air-pot to a 5 gal fabric pot around 25-28 days. Same deal with the soil. I transplant in between when root ball is wet to dry.
- She's just now finishing her stretch and entering pre-flower. As you can see, she has stretched 3x her size in less than 2 weeks since being transplanted from the air-pot to the fabric pot.

I think it's possible to even transplant at this point but haven't tried it yet. Maybe next time. I have plans for this girl.

Happy growin' ya'll!
