When flushing with water ph 7/6.8/6.5, should it be 1 day waited tap water?
yes... if your tap water has any chlorine/ chloramine / fluoride / fluorine in it. this lets those light elements gas off and dissipate.

in place of paper... goto an aquarium or hydro store.. and get this:

as soon as you can afford it, I reccomend the hannah 98129:

I have a couple of questions.

Would paper ph meters give enough info?
When flushing with water ph 7/6.8/6.5, should it be 1 day waited tap water?

since my grow room will be an ex-toilet, i can set smth up for the runoff water with no problem i believe :)

pH paper meters only give an approximate value here, a pH meter is what you need as even ±0.1 of pH can be quite the difference between getting a deficiency or not.

I wouldn't be too worried about the day waited tap water. What you're doing is basically soil flushing and 25 litres of water in 1 container is quite a bit and you need 6 of them for 2 plants. There wouldn't be any harm in doing it normally from the tap as chlorine salts and the like generally build up over time, so if you regularly watered with chlorinated water then you'd be worried about it :help:

pH up and pH down solutions are very strong when trying to balance pH for watering or flushing. Go easy on them, start with 1 drop at a time and see how much it affects your pH. I generally find pH down is considerably stronger than pH up by about 1:3 :wiz:

Thanks man :] I'm quite high right now to be fair as well lol. I like including all the little details as they're the hardest to find with Google when you're confused :head:

me too... its a lot to sort when you dont know what data is really valid and what is newb feedback... :smokeit:

you got the vibe here down like a cowboy! :howdy:

Cheers bud :buds: Just trying to be helpful, be nice to see another 150g grow from a first time grower :) Everyone loves a big harvest and it's the little things that make the biggest differences :smokeit:

just remember the rule of tradeoff: buy one good one once... and save money... buy cheap and replace with good, lose more money in exchange for frustration and losses. :toke:

Welcome to AFN, Serengeti :smokebuds: I look forward to following along with your grow. Everyone's advice has been great!
