Thats the idea mate... learn it, love it, pass it on... :smokeit:

calmag is a nutrient supplement (Calcium / Magnesium)
molasses and epsom salts can replace cal mag cheap.
1tsp each per gallon of water during flowering.
:2cents:

the appropriately sized extraction fan should work fine... you got the idea.. negative pressure so smells are sucked in and extracted through the fan / filter.

never tell anyone!

Yeah i shouldn't have stealth problems as long as i can keep the smell away :)

if you're extracting outside... and have the extra cash... the big blue ionizers are really sweet... no air flow restricion as they use ionized corona discharge for killing the smell... no matter what youve got going... they kill 100% of the smell... :toke:

NEVER use one of these to exhaust air in any living space or area where you may be exposed... ionized air in fairly low concentrations can OXIDIZE LUNG TISSUE. So thats why venting outside only with these. :toke:

Right on. CalMag is a calcium & magnesium supplementary nutrient solution, basically tomato feed. It's good for providing those supplementary micronutrients as their deficiencies are quite common.

Fluorescent tubes are okay but they're not all that good, they don't give out that many lumens of light in many spectrums.

BTW about the Formulex, most of those online-shopping websites don't send to my country :( I am able to find Epsom salts but not Calmag, would that be enough?

Money is a little bit of a trouble at this stage, perhaps i can get smth like that for my second grow? :) Thanks for the advise :)

Yeah man that should be plenty :] I had some before I got CalMag. There's a few companies who make CalMag supplements.

You're going to want pH up and pH down solutions, they're essential like the pH meter is. When you get your pH meter, full as big a container as possible (I use 5L water bottles) with tap water and give it a day or two to evaporate all the chlorine content out of it. Test the pH and see if it's at a neutral 7 or not :] If you can spare a little more money get an EC meter to see if your water is hard, soft or pure water. What I mean by that is the EC (electrical conductivity) is used to show how many TDS (total dissolved solids) are in your water, basically meaning foreign contaminants added to the water like chlorine. If your water reads as 300+ µS then it won't be very good for your plants. Mine is at 100, perfect pH 7.

In case you didn't know already, soil grow mediums are best for growing cannabis if their pH is 6.5. You should be able to put pH 7 water in and get 6.5 running out of the bottom of the pot (run-off). It's very important to get the pH of your soil right before anything else.

Also it's really important you get some pH 7 calibration solution to keep your pH meter calibrated properly.

yes... I bought calmag ONCE... and when i opened it... it smelled like molasses and vinegar... and did some research... molasses and epsoms IS my cal mag supplement.. at 1/10th the cost.. :toke:

Sounds like you are on point on security... but it never hurts to have a watch of these Barry Cooper vids:

Alright, looks like i don't have much options about Formulex tho. Looks like i gotta go out tomorrow and make a huge search in my city for young plant nutes if i cannot find Formulex.
