Yes if you hit the books with diy led its way worth saving over $500 for a light. I diyed the hlg 550 v2 for around $550.
To the op. I suggest waiting until 4/20. Hlg might have a sale!!

I spent around $400 for 480 watts plus I built a vegetable garden with 555 watts altogether I spent around $700 ish for almost 1000 watts

Thanks for the advice everyone, but in the spirit of keeping things simple think I'm going to go with a single HLG 600H for now which will give me around 620w of QB for $692. That's a bit low for the space, but I'll probably throw a 50-75w cob in each corner at some point to supplement.
