Think i'm about ready to harvest my 3 think different plants, was wondering should i be turning off the lights 48 hours before harvest ? does anyone here do this and are there any benefits ?, also if i'm turning lights off for 48 hours before harvest should i also turn the pump off and let the plants use up all of the water they are retaining ?.

Some peope say you get more trychomes if you leave the lights out for a couple days but I don;t know if it's a proven fact. I would turn off your pump so they can use up there stored moisture and this might quicken the drying process.Looks like you got some heavy try coverage already so your smoke should turn out great.

Think I have done both, 48 hours off and just shut it all down and chop chop. I cant say there was a boost to trikes or not. I have not seen any tangible evidence, scientifically, or personally. I would just shut it down and chop that dank ass looking TD!!!!! You are gonna love the smoke!!!!

cool thanks for the replys. I'm going to shut everything down now and chop em up in the morning, cut a few buds just now so going to compare them to the rest and see if the darkness period does anything atall
