Well, there’s one issue that I’m battling right now that I haven’t touched upon. My 2x4 tent is in a space that has its challenges... if I keep my fan and filter going my temps drop down to 19-20 C. With the fan off, I get up to 25-26 and sometimes even 27C. For most of the grow I’ve just had the small fans running inside the tent and maybe running my fan/filter for and hour or two at times when I’ve been home and able to turn it off. Yesterday I had the fan/filter running for around 20 hours. When I checked on things in the tent yesterday evening, the girls were a bit unhappy. Droopy/slightly wilting. I turned off the fan and by this morning things were looking much much better. Now... from the beginning I had decided that it was more important to keep temps and humidity up as opposed to worrying about air exchange. Now that the plants have aged and are getting ready to take off, I know that air exchange is becoming more and more important. Just wondering if some of you more experienced growers think I can keep at it in this manner without detriment for another week or so. The reason I ask is I’ve been planning on moving them into a 5x5 in a new area without these challenges and testing out a new light. Unfortunately due to a recent surgery I can’t do this much sooner than a week from now possibly a little longer. I don’t want my plants to suffer though, so if there’s a consensus that continuing to run them as I’ve been doing will start to really negatively affect things I’ll enlist the help of a friend to get things going sooner. My thanks in advance!

IMO yes I would keep it the way you've been doing. I dont even run my scrubber I havent since my 2nd grow I just keep air moving my RH stays between 45 and 60 temps stay between 65 and 75. Hope this helps looking good BTW :d5:

Day 30 (still)

Ok so after dinner I decided to finish up the work I left the other day (I had left one plant that need a bit of opening up and tying down. I took care of that and then I ended up doing further work on the rest of them. I’m hoping that that will be the end of that other than defoliation as needed going forward.

So what day are they on when you apply this training? Looks like they are just about to start some pistils.

What is going on here? No topping. Have a dominant cola. And tie down all the non dominants so they are pulled away and not getting blocked by the main cola so they get lots of air and light?

Some pistils have already announced themselves! It’s now day 30, I think I started a bit of training around day 25... I honestly don’t have a set day that I start on. I basically bother with them once the branches are long enough to reach the edges of the pot. I don’t top. I’d like to experiment with that in the future, but what has really caught my eye is mainlining. I’d like to give that a go! As for what I’m doing (or trying to do/achieve) pretty much bang on with what you said. I’m just trying to allow the plant to get as much light as possible so pulling down branches away from each other helps that as well as allowing any branches off of those ones tied down to grow vertically in the open areas.

I kind of grow like that too. Looking forwarded to watching your ladies grow up to be fine old dames.

Day 33 Update

Here are individual pics of the plants. I just increased the amount I’ve been watering the other day. I was playing it a little safe- possibly too safe up until now. So it will be interesting to see how they respond over the next few days with this increase in watering. I have a friend coming over on Sunday (so I will have help available as I shouldn’t be lifting things)with his help I might actually put the 5x5 together and move them into their new home and under the new light. I also posted a pic of a leaf I had clipped while inspecting things. I just found it to be so beautiful!
