Hay thanks everyone,

I have taken the clear plastic pots of now, placed a tray underneath(thanks Blue)and added a 5inch pc fan on the passive air intake space to drop temps, just going to dampen the soil with a mister for next couple of days with bio root juice added at 2ml per ltr. they germed quick i think, all up this morning, one was later than the other two but thats all, no problems so far.

I calibrated my relatively cheapo ph pen and was shocked when i tested my water it said 8.1 went back to the calibration solution and yep it said 6.9 , so i took my tap water and adjusted it to 24c which was the same as the calibration solution and it read 7.1 which was what i was expecting, so it looks like if i am to believe anything it tells me the temp is critical. I am going to buy some bottled water to day that has a ph of 6.4 at source to ease my mind.

Day 1 (10 march)

The girls (will name them when they grow a bit , dont want to get too attached its still early days)

Yipee triplets, congrats Hairy on your new baby girls :)

Congratulations. I'm very happy germination went smooth for you. Onward and upward now. Good Luck Hairyman

Congrats on getting your babies this far with no problems. Cigars all around. You're off and running although it will seem like a crawl. lol

I bet youre chuffed to bits with your new arrivals hairy.
Well done mate,am chuffed for ya.

Thanks guys, its means a lot too know you have my back in this adventure.

It's day 2 ( don't worry wont be doing this every day) so nothing new, doing my best not to stick my head in the cupboard every two minutes, temps are 80-84 even with the added fan and i have to keep putting in a wet towel just to maintain Rh 40 but in general is looking good, i am happy, no panic stations yet, I am just misting around the the girls keeping the soil moist about 3 times a day ( little amounts) will update at day 5 unless there's an emergency :)

Thanks everyone.

My internet finally let me read through your journal. Girls are looking all green and happy. From what I've read here, it seems best not to water often in the start to encourage the roots to explore more. As long as it's moist an inch in, the girls will be happy (that's what she said!).Happy adventures with your grow, man. May the Great Bud in the Sky shine greenly upon your thumbs!
