Harvest & Curing The time we all work so hard for. Achieving the Perfect Cure!

Fullduplex,

I was searching on Amazon for Boveda packs and noticed that they come in different humidity ranges. Some are 72%. 69%, and 75%. Do you have any recommendations as far as which ones to get?

Great post by the way. Thanks alot for the tips and tricks.

Nevermind, sorry I saw where you wrote boveda 65 at.

I too use 62!

Is it possible to use a say 16 Litre Bucket with an air right lid for curing instead of mason canning jars?

I would probably need 2 or 3 Boveda for a bucket that size filled with 10-20 ounces too I'm guessing?

Thanks for this sticky, it's the best curing document I've ever read and I'm looking forward to taking my curing to the next level! Thank you thank you thank you :D

thanks everyone for the quick feedback. 62 it is. Thank you fullduplex for sharing such great information. Never in my life have I read such a great article on curing. Definitely will be trying out this method of drying and curing. Thanks

62 is definitely a good choice. But I always keep it at 65% and I have told my partner that he will always get stuff at this point precisely, so it gives some more opportunity to open jars, to put it out and take a look and then when it goes further and people keep it in bags it will still keep some moisture until final use. It works perfectly.

But if you keep it for your personal use, 62 will be perfect because stuff will be more tastefull to smoke instantly from the jar as at 65%, where buds are still a little wet and you need to keep them on the table for another hour or two if not to humid around.

I am just doing some cutting, drying, curing and now when I have my own Caliber hygrometer, suggested in this very thread, I can really enjoy it.

It is incredible what a pleasure curing can be if you do it in a proper way.

In the process of curing everything goes just in a right way if you follow the rules.
