New Grower The Plants of The Ape

I'll read it again this weekend. I have already caught myself talking about what to do next time. My schedules are just that on this FunGrow in the 2L to make sure I stay on point with my schedules and meticulously detailed notes until I become a walking talking plant whisperer. I'm writing down everything.

Every time you keep a close journal, and either the grow goes right(or not), it will certainly bring you one step closer to perfection. Once you get a few grows under your belt, it wont be long until you see the plants changes, and are ready to properly react quickly enough to stop the problem. Sometimes you have to see the shit(deficiencies), to learn how to stop shit(deficiencies).

I am very keen on growing both once i have a big enough grow space to do so!!
I have a new tent coming 72" in height. 24x48x72 so we can get a rotation going it'll take another month to get it in a good starting point, and a full two months to have it finished but we can get it started.

Exactly my thinking. Nobody ever become the Starting Quarterback without practice... I'm that guy that will live in the film room until I've seen everything that can be thrown at me.

My first 2 seasons of plants were an absolute embarrassment, but then again that was a long time ago, and you couldnt just hop on the internet and find 50 billion grows to check out.

I couldn't even imagine what my grow would have been without the help and information I get from here alone.

But let's be real, sometimes you see a plant on the internet and you say to yourself after you just bragged to the wife about how much of a Bad Ass you are and the smartest thing she ever did was to marry me. And you see that one plant and all you can say is...

"Here I am thinking I was hot shit on a silver platter when in fact I'm just another cold turd on a paper plate..."

The price you pay to be among the very best of peers. I love it!

Apedate: Day 60...

I have not updated lately because I was keeping an eye on things. As you know my first girl, Tina pulled the ole' Hermie Munster on me and the other day I noticed what looked like a seed pod and sure enough... I got me some grandbabies.

After Louise hit just shy of 21" tall she all but stopped growing. I was wondering if that was normal or due to her going into seed production. So, anyway we took four lower branches of buds and put them in the drying tent and from them, we have gotten 14g of totally ass-kicking smoke. I mean WoW! These are mostly pop-corn with a decent top nugget from each branch that is very sticky and extremely dense. I could have easily let her go for another two weeks, but I didn't want any more of her power going into seed production. As of right now, I am the proud grandparent of 15 Amnesia Haze Regs.

So, as my first grow started out on cruise control it kind of went south on me and how. I'm chalking it up as a win/win. I made it through my first grow without killing everything including my cat. And I inadvertently become a hobby-breeder in the process. Looking like I'm going to end up with 35g in total. I'll slow cure a few nugs for toking on, but most of it will be turned into Green Dragon Tincture.

Louise after her Charle Brown Christmas Tree trim job. This picture doesn't do her nugs any justice as they are quite frosty. I really see how the practice of some smart LST could really help those lower under-buds realize their full potential.

The grandbabies from 4 of the 6 smallest side branches.

By no means, a perfect grow nor a fully potentialized one, but I could not be any happier with the product that I have to date. I can only get better, and I will. I am already on my second grow with the wife involved as we are in the 2L fun-grow and I plan on getting right back into my bigger 2G pots that are coming and going with a 4 strain Hempy Bucket grow that I will prep and drop sometime next week. A much bigger tent has been added to the mix as the other one will be scrubbed down and turned into the veg tent.

Being in a wheelchair has been my biggest obstacle to working with tents? It is hard for me to get as up in their personal space and seeing things that need attention. We're working on turning a whole room into a grow room next with me being able to wheel around all sides of the grow beds being the most important thing.

I am fully involved and devoted to spending the rest of my days to growing these magical plants.

i was growing a couple of years before i dare do a journal.first 9 months i didnt weigh a harvest i measured them in joints, and i didnt get more than 10 joints a plant.then something clicked and it got a lot easier without me realizing it.im still crap but keep it between the hedges most times.sometimes im surprized by a seed now and again, but no big deal really.
rotation running perpetual i like as harvests dont need to be spectacular.and we can afford the odd boo boo or hiccup along the way,as the next harvest could be only 2,3 weeks away.
i think ive seen a few grows with plant dollies maybe F.N. or Eyes on Fire ?
a harvest is a harvest it dont matter how many grams, enjoy it for what it is.....that can be many things
great job and more to come:pass:
keep it up
:pighug:
