Apedate: Day 60...
I have not updated lately because I was keeping an eye on things. As you know my first girl, Tina pulled the ole' Hermie Munster on me and the other day I noticed what looked like a seed pod and sure enough... I got me some grandbabies.
After Louise hit just shy of 21" tall she all but stopped growing. I was wondering if that was normal or due to her going into seed production. So, anyway we took four lower branches of buds and put them in the drying tent and from them, we have gotten 14g of totally ass-kicking smoke. I mean WoW! These are mostly pop-corn with a decent top nugget from each branch that is very sticky and extremely dense. I could have easily let her go for another two weeks, but I didn't want any more of her power going into seed production. As of right now, I am the proud grandparent of 15 Amnesia Haze Regs.
So, as my first grow started out on cruise control it kind of went south on me and how. I'm chalking it up as a win/win. I made it through my first grow without killing everything including my cat. And I inadvertently become a hobby-breeder in the process. Looking like I'm going to end up with 35g in total. I'll slow cure a few nugs for toking on, but most of it will be turned into Green Dragon Tincture.
Louise after her Charle Brown Christmas Tree trim job. This picture doesn't do her nugs any justice as they are quite frosty. I really see how the practice of some smart LST could really help those lower under-buds realize their full potential.

By no means, a perfect grow nor a fully potentialized one, but I could not be any happier with the product that I have to date. I can only get better, and I will. I am already on my second grow with the wife involved as we are in the 2L fun-grow and I plan on getting right back into my bigger 2G pots that are coming and going with a 4 strain Hempy Bucket grow that I will prep and drop sometime next week. A much bigger tent has been added to the mix as the other one will be scrubbed down and turned into the veg tent.
Being in a wheelchair has been my biggest obstacle to working with tents? It is hard for me to get as up in their personal space and seeing things that need attention. We're working on turning a whole room into a grow room next with me being able to wheel around all sides of the grow beds being the most important thing.
I am fully involved and devoted to spending the rest of my days to growing these magical plants.
