The Liverpool game was good, they just out-classed and out-performed United in all departments. I think United will struggle in midweek too, their confidence is gonna be rock bottom. As for Man City, they've got a few weak links in their defence, the main one being Demachalis (sp), he needs to be sold in the summer and they need someone who can back Kompany up properly, Lescot has had his day I think.

I agree bro. We are defo going to struggle. Lads didn't seem like they want'd to play today. Damn shame.

...and no offence but jab on? Times are tough at United, but you forget that everyone else has chased our tails for the last 20+ years mate..

Oh no my friend... i am very aware of the fact that Liverpool never won a PL title and that Man United has been more than dominant in the league for as you say 20+ years... why do you think i feel so very good right now?
But now its our time again, and we still got more big throphys than you guys...46 agains 42 if im not misstaken. But as i said, it is our time now...

Years ago Anfield wanted to buy a large number of houses around there site for expansion, they handed eviction notices to home owners, at the last minute they pulled out, causing the property values to drop. Leaving people with nothing. Today they now want to buy the same properties, but now after so many years there's house are dirt cheap, some look like slums, if you have ever had the pleasure of going to the neighbouring Anfield, it's a shit hole.

Liverpool football club screwing the local community.

When was this mate? Under Gillette and Hicks ownership?

If that happend thats a damn shame, but really has nothing to do with Football team Liverpool and me supporting them.

But i would very much like to read about it, you got a link that backs up that story?

And i think you sound a little grumpy...you miss Alex?

It still ongoing, here an article from last year. http://www.theguardian.com/football...blog/2013/may/06/anfield-liverpool-david-conn

Do I miss Alex? If you had Rodgers for that long, with that successful record, and the most successful manger in UK football history. Wouldn't you miss him J.

Dave just isn't good enough. People compare him back to Alex back in the day, but TBH, that was then, and this now, and things are ALOT different.
You have to be a top manager to be at a top club at UTD. Shit man that's just obvious.

I was just looking up that same article myself, Kip. Shameful stuff at Anfield, to be sure. No doubt all clubs have their own tales of avarice and stepping on the little guy if you look deep enough, but I feel terrible for all those folks who are trapped in poverty just a few meters away from such riches.

As for Moyes, one has to wonder how much lower it must get before total revolt among the fan base. It's all fine and well for Alex to give his 'stand behind the new manager' speeches back in the summer, but nobody could have ever predicted the depths that things have sunk to. No way in hell United can afford to spend 3-5 years waiting on Dave to figure out what he's doing. The guy looks like he couldn't properly handle a League Two side right now, which is quite strange because he always seems solid, if not a bit boring, at Everton. All you have to do is look at the table and see what Pochettino and Martínez are doing with FAR less resources and it destroys the argument that a manager needs to be given years to settle in and deliver results. United's lineup is not as strong as we've been accustomed to, and it's a tall order to expect them to compete with the top 4 clubs right now. But to be in real danger of dropping to 9th as well as routinely getting battered at Old Trafford is simply inexcusable.

Your right mate, no the team isn't good enough, the front is fine, middle and back, I don't not like, how the hell Fergie managed to do what he did with them is beyond me. We are being over taken by our rivals at all angles, especially City. Vidic, Smalling, Jones, Ferdinand, Jones, Evans and Fabio are just good enough.

I heard a rumour about a Dutch manager possible line up, there is no doubt after this weekend that the American brothers with be closely watching. Dave may have a long contract but they are the ones who can cut it short. Who knows, what will happen but this is a blip that will be sorted, Man U as a business it is, simple cannot afford it. The actual team is playing bad, whilst the buissness side on the stocks is good. This is where is will all come into play, money,money,money....

I saw Fabio in a casino playing £1 blind bets at poker, lol the guys on £80k week? Made me laugh.

Off course i would miss him, i would miss him like crazy. How can one not miss the best manager, not olny i uk but in thw whole wide world? Being a life time (30years) Liverpool fan its been so many painful years seeing Sir Alex working his magic year after year, his way of handling players from squad player to world class player and always making them work as one TEAM instead of eleven players.

For me Sir Alex is the best manager ever, no doubt. But i hoe Mr Rodgers will give him a run for the money the next 20years :)

I agree about Mr Moyes, his not good enough, and he never will be. My money hes getting sacked before the season is over.

And to compare Moyes with when Alex took over is just rubbish, just as Man U was when Alex took over. Off course he needed some time to get the team where he wanted it to be, the rest is history.

But Moyes started with a good team this season and he started his failure in the transfer window last summer.

The funny thing is, Sir Alex ended his career with a Great team, Moyes take over the exact same players but he only had a good team.

I will now read your link, thank you mate to dig it out for me.

take care J

No matter the level of talent, Moyes will get them playing to his standards:

Not really a surprise with Moyes is it. He was a defender and if you bring your coaching style and backroom staff it stands to reason that Man U would play like Everton did....'did' being the word.

Martinez is at Everton and they play the same as Wigan did now.

Rodgers is at Liverpool and they play like Swansea did and that's connected to Martinez also as you should get a manager to manage a style. (Which is why England are so dire)

If Fergie and his backroom staff 5 years ago went to Everton they might not have won anything but they would play like ManU.

Jose wins stuff but he has a style, a way of playing....shit lol

All manager have a style....that's why this was a strange choice. Moyes' style is none attacking. Man U is full on attack all the time even when pinned down they just break and score.

Just for the record I can't stand Man U but I can appreciate how much of a force they were and entertaining they were.

Just gutted looks like the scousers are back but when they also play like that all you can do is :tiphat:
