Agreed to some extent, but I have grown (outdoors) with and without. With "proper application", i have bigger buds and more trichs using certain additives. With that being said, there are other variables that are involved, Recharge is a perfect example.

I hear ya mate, but unless you did a side by side with clones it’s meaningless unfortunately. Really, what I’m saying is, if you have to add this and that for flowering, your nutes are shit. Flowering nutes should contain everything needed. The fact is cannabis needs the same shit in flower that it needs in veg. Maybe at slightly different ratios but nothing more. The other fact is, nute companies make SHIT LOADS of money from snake oil flowering additives. It’s human nature to believe all the bullshit unfortunately.

This is my way of thinking: any strain has a maximum genetic potential in terms of strength, yield etc. No additive can change the plants genetic potential. Good environment is the plants best bet for expressing potential. All just in my opinion and I’m at the other end of the scale to expert!

I think you have a
1: genetic baseline
2: genetic potential
Where genetic potential is dependent upon external variables ie enviroment, grow medium base. If all is right then the plant can reach its potential.

I THINK that’s what I said dude? Could be wrong but seems remarkably similar. Could just be that you’re agreeing also! Haha. Very stoned on Gorilla OG and Jedi Kush.

In my head everything we do except food is covered by “environment”. If the environment is good and the food is adequate, then the plant can show it’s full potential if it wants to. Giving it this and that additive will not persuade it to rearrange its genes and become better! In my opinion obvs.

I wish I wasn’t such a spanner and was rather more gifted in the eloquence department
