New Grower The Hazzle's first grow

Yeah was coco and and b. Giving one of them a flush and seeing how it responds. No EC meter
If your running without a meter you could also try using some distilled water with your mix. About half and half, that's if you repeatedly find tox when feeding less than the schedule. I bet your background water is loaded with minerals, they count the same as nutrients when calculating feed levels. For instance, my background TDS is 500 and I never have a total feed over 850, so no matter what if I use my trap water I can only add 350 TDS feed. So I use reverse osmosis water, by that way I get better control over inputs.

Too much effort for a lazy stoner like me lol. Tap water will be fine I'm sure.

Day 50/F Day 18

So yesterday I flushed one of my plants that looked quite nitrogen toxic and today it looks like some buds have developed overnight so today just watered water only for the others and will maybe feed every other watering. All still growing. Critical kush starting to stink.

Since shutting all the passive intakes and having an air intake duct leading to the window the negative pressure sucks the sides of the tent in so hopefully air flow will be better. Temps and humidity low today.

Nutrient lockout, overfeeding, maybe higher temps also because plants then need more water and less nutrients.

Goes in at 5.8 but was coming out at like 4.5. Should I be concerned?
I never measure run myself, but if you do it consistently you can make some inferences. Usually when in hydro, Coco is most like hydro when done right, low pH it's cause by a hungry plant. In other words, the plant grabs all the nutrients it can and drops they pH all by itself.

So the big question is.. are you getting the low pH when you run clear water? Or when you feed? Whenever I do clear water i don't pH, since i don't care about nutrient obsorption, I just flush. I only do clear water if I'm too lazy to mix nutes or I'm doing my 3 day flush before harvest.

Imo making your nutrient mix about 100-150 ppm weaker and watering with good run off would be healthier than starving your plant every other watering.

Remember, in coco you can completely renew your nutrients in your root zone at any time. You just set the ppm and pH and water until you have nothing but new nutrients.

So maybe flush all of them until run off is in range?
