Outdoor The^Dudes High Tunnel Grow 2020

Oil batch
  • Ready for decarbing! Eighth of gmo for oil, eighth of gmo for alcohol extract, eighth of garlic butter for oil, eighth of gorilla glue for oil. Should be 270-360 doses of oil and a mystery amount of extract, my first time doing that with decarbed pot.

    Gelat.OG
  • Went into darkness friday, chop sunday or monday! Beginning to think I need to maintain more distance between my lights and my buds. The top buds are 14 inches away, and they feel “dry”, not a lot of stickiness. A little further down the plant is super duper sticky.

    New Life! (Take 2)
  • First to escape their shells, Bubba Kush and Amnesia. Not pictured are Fastberry, Blueberry, El Solodiol cbd, and I think one other. No one else has made it up far enough yet.

Also, sourcing material for two yards of living soil. Any aeration ideas besides perlite? Looking for pomace or lava rock but it’s been a bitch to source. Gonna use a yard myself and if it performs well try to farmers market the other one.

    Soil Recipe
  • Here’s what I’m doing so far:
    Sphagnum peat Moss
    Perlite
    Lava rock
    Compost (dairy doo, vermicompost)
    Rock Dust ( highbrix)
    Kelp meal
    Neem Meal
    Crab meal
    Malted Barley
    Gypsum
    Biochar
    Oyster shell
    DE/Montimorillite clay
    Inoculants
All organic when possible. Think I have enough right now for a couple yards, will run out of rock Dust first but will have plenty of other ingredients, so I may get more of I need it.

    Kalashnikova Harvest
  • Greenhouse seeds Kalashnikova Auto. Started January 4th, though I did see slow growth in the very beginning because of my reamendment timing choice. She was fantastic to grow, and the buds are rock hard. The only one of this 9 plant pot that I would regrow.

    Mendocino Twenty20 “The Great!” Harvest
  • So long and thanks for all the buds!
What an awesome grow. This plant was a treat from day one, super easy, very vigorous, and nicely uniform across 4 plants. Topped once it evened out pretty nicely with 4 main tops and a ton of satellite sites. Even the nugs at the bottom are smoke-worthy. I’m so excited to see what it’s going to do outside, the one in the tunnel is huuuge.
Aroma was complex and pungent: mostly fruity, heady garlic coming through, mint, fermentation, sometimes floral pink soap. The early bud I pulled off last week reeked of Bubbalicious Watermelon gum, which was a blast of nostalgia from my childhood. Now for a slow dry and we begin the cure. I can tell this will be on my absolute top shelf, and I’ll be growing her again and again. Beautiful purple color.
Oh! And only 59 days in flower! From the day I switched the lights to the day I chopped her down, I’m so impressed by the speed. Less than two months!!!
If you’ve never run a photo start here. If you have, try this beast out. Terp bomb indeed.
