Also, planted out some @Jean-O seeds in the high tunnel. Nothing to show yet, but I’m excited to see how they do in the tunnel. Not sure what else I’ll put out there this year, focusing more on food this season.
End of week seven and the girls are looking good. Each one is a different strain and they all smell incredible. Really looking forward to the banana scented one, as well as a very garlicky, minty, skunky one. Should be a great harvest, lots of happy big buds.
It’s the beginning of week 10 and I had to snip off a sample. This one smells so much like banana, to me it’s cut up bananas on wheaties with milk. Very excited to give it a try.
I tested another bud yesterday that had been drying for a few days, this one off the very meaty kushy plant. Damn the flavors were great! Gonna be a great harvest. Maybe a week longer for one of the plants, the others will likely come down at the beginning of June, which would be 88 days of flower.
So rather than grow a few monster plants in the tunnel this year I decided to grow a bunch of smaller ones. And I’m trying autos out there again, though they typically struggle with botrytis (the photos do not). We’ll see how it goes!

There’s already a decent size Black Willie growing away out there, as well as some wild sown seeds from last year. We’ll see if any of the wildlings look worth keeping in July.

Looks like this was the last pic of the whole family together before I started hacking and cutting. This was mid May I think.
Ten strains harvested, some amazing variety and a few incredible performers. Love walking into the flower room and saying “hmm, what do I feel like smoking now”.
