New Grower The brewery does it doggystyle

Good morning all. Happy labor day weekend. It is now officially just over a week since this lady has shown herself to the world:

I will say that i will never use my city tap water again. It left a slime and a stench, but has since been clearing up,thankfully. I'm better off using r/o water and adding a very light feeding of the npk and rapid start. She did get a slight burn on her tips but she's trucking along just fine, and looks like she's starting to take up the water a little more. The tap root is looking healthy, and the PH has held steady at around 6-6.2, which we lower down to 5.5ish-5.7ish. I feel there's nothing wrong with a little bit of a drift. The ppm has rose to around 130 but to me doesn't seem detrimental at all. Current temperature is 86° with a RH of 42%. I'd like that RH to obviously go up but need it to stay where it is currently as tangie nears the finish line.

Btw, I was lucky enough to get the blessing from @Mossy to enter the mephisto contest, although I'm a week ahead of everyone else. I will be posting in there shortly after I tend to a couple things at home.. here's the link:

Nice looking babies you got there. Also Happy Labor day to you and all.
My tap water is ZERO PPM with a PH between 7.7 and 8.4. I am using it. Until today I have not adjusted PH. Letting AN PH Balance to do it's thing.

Great news on getting into the grow. Knock 'em all out of the park.

Day 14:
What's shakin? I snapped a picture of little Chem this morning before heading out for a day of slavery. She's looking perky, which is a nice sight to see.

Since I gave her that first early initial feed, I haven't given any to her since, and have watched the ppm go up little by little. It was around 180 ppm and a pH of 4.3 [emoji32].. so we took out a few cups worth of water from the res, and replaced it with r/o water with a pH of 7.1. That in turn bumped it up to 5.5 and lowered the ppm to around 150. I also cleared some of the hydroton away from underneath her to give her some breathing room... I think she liked that as she was a pretty perky girl this morning with a temp of 85° and a RH of 40%... I'll take a peek later today and see how she's doing..

Still waiting for tangie to finish up so I can throw stardawg in, but tangie is proving to take a longer time than thought. Which is no surprise for a sativa. She's cloudy but hasn't started turning Amber too much. We started to ween some nutes by adding just ph'd water to lower her ppm slowly.. the upside to all of this, is that she will be a personal best yield wise..

Welp, that's all I got for now. Have a good Thursday everyone [emoji111]

160 ppm, 78°, 5.9 ph, and holding pretty steady. Being currently fed 5ml rapid start, 1-1-1 of npk, with hydroguard in the mix, as well as random foliar sprays of silicablast. Planning on incorporating calmag soon, and slowly increasing everything as she feeds more .. closet is 87°/40% RH.. so far so gouda with this lady.. [emoji106]
Have a great day everyone [emoji111][emoji41]

Keep up the good work, It is paying off

Well, here we are...

day 28:
7ddb37e007e0a4702a79ca55b112ed7f.jpg

422ppm,80°,6.0ph on 1st initial test..

water smelled a little funky so we pumped some out, and added fresh in while introducing calmag, and silica to the res with an npk of 2-2-1.

Let it stir up and now get a 450ppm,77° reading, and lowered ph to around 5.5.. admittedly i got lazy about checking daily for a couple days, but it didnt harm anything and shes ok..
I also had a scare through the mail with some beans being confiscated. Nothing happened and I've been told nothing will, but nonetheless I've been chilling out.. As I said before this may be my only journal, but I will try my best to honor and finish it, as well as the competition.

Have a great day everyone
