No, I'm not blaming the Rapid Rooter plugs any more. It was my problem -- too much humidity caused damping-off of my replacement seeds. Here's was I figure happened .....got you pal also do you think you figured out what happened do you still think it was the root riots
I germ'd one Zam Caramel seed back in late January. Looked fine, but I put it in my tent under CobShop Cobs when it was still tiny, and apparently had the light too close, so it got horribly fried (but not killed). I figured it would die, so I over the next few weeks I germ'd 3 more Caramels. Fearing a repeat fry-o-lator episode, I kept these replacement sprouts in a humidity-domed tray, on top of a heat mat, and under T5 lights. The humidity had to be over 90% I figure. It was a sauna. I kept them there for a week before moving them over to the tent. They looked good, but .... obviously they were doomed. And within a week or so they had all collapsed and died. Great learning lessons for me. Meanwhile, the original COB-fried plant has come back to life. It was comatose for several weeks, but now seems to be growing. Not sure when, if, or how much bud will develop, but I'll keep nursing her along to see what happens. :smoking:
