I don't like rapid rooters. They restrict fast root development early on and can actually somewhat strangle the stems when they get older. I've done side by sides with rapid rooters, rockwool and old fashioned Styrofoam cups. My 50/50 coco perilite mix in cups was always faster and healthier then rockwool then rooters.

You ever used jiffy coco cubes?

Morning Bailey yeah I've had the 600w metal halide over top of it now for weeks not a whole lot of heat coming off that the HPS is maybe a little bit harder cuz I do notice the temperature difference and maybe a degree or two but it's not enough to do a lot in that room temperatures have come up some though they're probably running about 55 56 57 right in there but the high temperature still under 70 the temperatures outside are around 11 degrees right now in the mornings and are coming all the way up to hit 48 today tomorrow we're supposed to hit 66 and rain so maybe my temperatures will come up a little bit I'm almost ready to harvest so my flowering crop. And I'll set up a tent to put the plant in and protected from the rest of the house I have to do some cleaning still I have to tear apart my entire grow system and clean it from the rafters to the floor I won't be flowering inside until probably Christmas Time Again after this run.
