Awesome again TaNg! I got my HS1 today from my friend. First thing I did when I test fired it was to position myself at the center from the light and extend my arm and fingers all the way and slowly lower my arm below the level of the unit until I see light on my fingers.
I kid you not, my fingers was about 50 to 60 cm off the left and just 5 cm below the unit i could see the light reflecting clearly of them...awesome awesome spread!

Really happy for you bro it's a magic bit of kit and your right the light spread from such a small unit is amazing,you can bet your bottom dollar most LED units will use a diffuser of some kind in the next few years.
New diffusers coming out soon as well by the looks of it. What sort of difference is that going to make i wonder ?
I'm still a little confused about the diffuser if im honest, i mean i know it works but surely more light would come out if i just remove the diffuser ? To me it just looks like a bit of frosted glass ? Super confused right now, anyway my plants are growing under it and looking healthy so thats the main thing, i can leave the techno science to GN

Yeah. I think the pictures cannot deliver all the glory of this unit. You have to be there to check this diffusor. It surely is cool and cant wait to see how it goes from here! Too bad I cannot get my hands on any autos now (or those Dragons.. man id pay big money for those) but i started with 2 photosensitive Ultimates.

Yeah you don't want to use the light without the diffuser,it's a key part of the light. The new diffusers will change the shape of the footprint like a rectangular one and a smaller footprint than the standard to increase intensity.

Hey TaNg, i just paid attention to the BB Kush final dry weight and did my math again. The wetbud to drybud percentage would be about 25,6%. I was off over 4% in my initial estimate of 21%. Pretty cool and really impressive weight, keeping in mind this is just the first one of the two.
Wow, just went and read the descriptions on those two plants, and again, WOW. TaNg is bringing the old school genetics to the next big thing in lighting. Will definitely watch that. My next grow will be a Shark Shock CBD photo, which I am going to clone and make meds from for my wife. But while I'm vegging my mother and starting roots on a couple sets of clones, I will sneek in a Test grow for Terrestrial beans. So once again I fall into a preview grow of sorts to primer me through my grow. I will enjoy this.
