Can I weigh in for a short rant? TaNg, another noteworthy grow. Great performance from some skinny watts. But the whole GPW thing, or total weight, etc... just kind of drives me crazy. Don't get me wrong, I want to know how much I have to make last until the next plant matures and I get another windfall. But part of the reason for growing the plants we do is to simply grow the plant and see how we do. I also raise true tropical Hibiscus. I have several that will only flower once or twice a year, maybe 3 or 4 blooms in a year. I keep this plant around and continue to fertilize, and care for it because I enjoy the blooms it puts out. The BBK grows into a beautiful flower/plant. These are the kinds of plants that I want to grow. I don't care if I get 1oz or 5oz off a plant(but since I have seen Sesame Street, I do realize that 5 is better than 1). Each plant has its own personality, that's what I want to see, and experience. That's why my next autos will be from the Red Family at Sweet seeds. And I have to order this BBK, and Mephisto Genetics HBSS(loves some bubble gum), and then some Duckfoot, all for variety. I could go on, but why, you get my drift here.
The great growers I believe, grow as a personal challenge. They are not growing solely for weight or accolades. They grow simply to see if they can make a plant do something more than just grow. Anyone can grow a plant, not everyone gets a 2lb tomato from it. Much like I can grow an Amnesia auto in dirt under LED, and TaNg can grow an Ultimate auto in soil and LEDS, there is only several hundred grams difference. But both of us were satisfied with our performances at that point. Always aspire to do something new and refine something old. Set your goals realistically and someday we will advance and grow better larger plants, that really scare the shit out of the uninformed due to high THC.
I don't understand this, i mean everyone grows for different reasons, some for meds some for fun some for profit etc. GPW benefits anyone who wants to get a rough idea about yield. Especially if you've only got a small set up like me and growing for personal use, its not like i'm going to get any money back and I have to pay for my electric myself.
