Lighting Testing GNs Holographic Series 1 With DPs Auto BlackBerry Kush and Auto Euforia

Tang whats the best strain for me to do to get the most yield. Easy to grow and big producer? Thinking bout doing the ultimate unless you recommend another?

Yep the Ultimate was a shocking plant an I doubt I will match her for a long time. My average for Autos would be between 100-200g,I've only had a handful over 200g.

Its the soil I believe. Or more accurately the depth/volume. Tang, what size are your airpots? I know that somewhere on here I have seen growers discussing depth of tap root in conjunction with pot size. Theoretically, if you took 2 airpots, lets say 3 gal size and stacked them 2 tall with just 1 bottom. You would now have a vertical 6 gal pot with almost double the depth to expand into. Longer tap root would equate to taller plant, and god only knows how bushy it could get. This might give you the ability to compete with DWC or at least bridge the gap.

My method is a little different as I don't water for the last day or two,2 in this girls case so there is less moisture to remove and drying takes less time.

Bro if I was only getting 0.5GPW from LEDs I would be using Plasma or HPS lol don't forget the 150w has flowered both the Kush and the Euphoria and I'm expecting 300-350g dry from the pair (the Euphoria may suprise me yet though) also for there first 40 days they shared 1 light, I think it would be more like 2.5gpw maybe more.

That's right. Oh my oh my, I am sorry. My estimate there must have felt like an insult to you. 2.5 gpw is truly like magic to me. I haven't ever even reached 1 gpw, not with LEDs or with HPS. I must try with HS1 and some autoflowering strains and see if I could finally even get to that.. Maybe I have to do grow diary one day so you can point out if I go totally wrong on something. I just dont get it how one can get so crazy crazy yield. You have my utmost respect, Sir.

its mad to think that both them plants are going to give you a combined amount of 350g but your auto ultimate gave you 500g. That really shocks me LOL

That must be some world record or something.

Something like Auto Ultimate or Auto X,the Auto Euphoria is looking like a top strain too, your choice bro but don't forget growing from Seed can throw out phenotype variations so never expect a plant to high yeild.

I would put it down to soil,Pot size, root pruning, environment, feeding shedule, lighting and a good old fashioned but of love lol.
It was actually this thread we were discussing the tap root bro I ever made a tall Airpot like you suggest but I've decided to grow some Photoperiods my traditional way.

That must be some world record or something.

not even close bro lol.

Allow me to introduce you to his highness, the King, Mr. Jorilla Ganjamoto and his sweet Princess Uma:

Like I say not even close lol.

GreAt grow :kusht:

Thanks bro.

Can I weigh in for a short rant? TaNg, another noteworthy grow. Great performance from some skinny watts. But the whole GPW thing, or total weight, etc... just kind of drives me crazy. Don't get me wrong, I want to know how much I have to make last until the next plant matures and I get another windfall. But part of the reason for growing the plants we do is to simply grow the plant and see how we do. I also raise true tropical Hibiscus. I have several that will only flower once or twice a year, maybe 3 or 4 blooms in a year. I keep this plant around and continue to fertilize, and care for it because I enjoy the blooms it puts out. The BBK grows into a beautiful flower/plant. These are the kinds of plants that I want to grow. I don't care if I get 1oz or 5oz off a plant(but since I have seen Sesame Street, I do realize that 5 is better than 1). Each plant has its own personality, that's what I want to see, and experience. That's why my next autos will be from the Red Family at Sweet seeds. And I have to order this BBK, and Mephisto Genetics HBSS(loves some bubble gum), and then some Duckfoot, all for variety. I could go on, but why, you get my drift here.

The great growers I believe, grow as a personal challenge. They are not growing solely for weight or accolades. They grow simply to see if they can make a plant do something more than just grow. Anyone can grow a plant, not everyone gets a 2lb tomato from it. Much like I can grow an Amnesia auto in dirt under LED, and TaNg can grow an Ultimate auto in soil and LEDS, there is only several hundred grams difference. But both of us were satisfied with our performances at that point. Always aspire to do something new and refine something old. Set your goals realistically and someday we will advance and grow better larger plants, that really scare the shit out of the uninformed due to high THC.

I see where your coming from bro but I personaly think the GPW or looking at yeild v power used is a great way of measuring a lights performance, and we do need something to get an idea of which lights work and which don't because there is a growing number to choose from.
Im like you bro I don't grow for yeild it's all about quality but every now and again a plant comes along that just wants to grow big lol.

Howdy TaNg..

Just went though this post on the BlackBerry..I'm sold..Infact..Ordered them for my next garden..

Thanks:peace:
