Update:

They are popping out flowers now! Plant on the left is 18.5 inches tall, the right is 15.5 inches. Starting to stink a little, real funky smell.....lol! Plants are now 18" from the lights, I'll try keeping them there a bit longer then try a bit closer.

That's the way to do it pop. I feel the real power of these haven't been fully utilized in most grows I have seen. Generally lights aren't set it and forget it. When you have a little sun above it may need a little extra adjustment.

This is what I've done out of pure laziness lol i work a lot of hours so gardening time is slim to none, that's why I love your cobs tho, I literally set it and forget it. I've adjusted the lights a few times that's about it in the past 4 weeks of 24 hours lights on. No heat to worry about, only time i check them is to see if they need water, sounds brutal but this works great for me, less time I have to mess my plants up

Day 46

Lights are as high as they can go. Getting slight light burn so I offset the plants so that they are not centered under the light. Wish this tent was taller...lol! I may mount the light directly to the bar and eliminate the rope rachets, etc. I can gain almost 6" that way. I'll make a low bench and use it to raise the plants higher in veg, rather than raising and lowering the lights, next grow. I may try one plant scrogged in this tent next, just got to find a medium size strain.

I'm wondering if my res is causing problems. This same yellowing issue happened last time in flower. I don't know if its my bloom nutes or the res itself reacting to them. I'll be changing my flowering nute next time and see what happened. Pisses me off, this same thing happened last time and I know my ph, etc is fine.

The plant on the left seems to have faired better than the one on the left. It my have been a transient issue, both seem to be doing fine, no further discoloration. Building buds nicely! Smell is mild right now, hard to describe yet.

A little lst might be more than enough. Even knuckling the taller branches. You could even lower the lights if you bent them over a bit to hit a higher numbers down low. Looks good either way. How close are the cobs to the tops?

haven't measured but I'd say 14-16". Yes, I might bend them as these girl might go 80 days. I usually like to let a first grow of a strain grow natural to get an idea of how they grow. Next time I'll top them at the 4th node.

I'm going to try topping a plant one of these days. I haven't yet but it's in the future for sure. I let them go to day 30 or so before I bend the tallest branch over the that's about it and there ends up being 10-20 tops come flower time.

Update:
Plants are doing ok, plant on the left still having issues. I'm thinking I may replace the res, I know that sounds weird but, 2 grows in a row I've had this issue, yet, not in the other tent running the exact same batch of solution. I'm wondering if its reacting with the plastic used in the container?? I don't know though, even that makes no sense really when you look at the plant on the left.

Plants are actually looking better than I thought. Yes, the one had issues yet is still chugging along. Buds on both plants ROCK hard! and moderately stinky, like maple syrup and something dead in a ditch.....lol!

And I've intentionally have done nothing to prevent light burn really. So I'll have good pics to show for examples. You look and think its a nute issue. Its not, its light burn! I'm thinking next grow will be a bigger strain and a scrog! I bet these lights will really pound out some buds then! What ya think BigSm0? A hubbabubba scrogged in this little tent?
