I have to say I am so excited to try out cmh it has been something I have wanted to try out for a long time now. I grew with led first and then moved to hps lighting for my grow tent and now the big jump to cmh lighting for my grow tent

you did it backwards to most thats out of the ordinary why did you move from led to hps where you not happy with the lights you had or just wanted a change ?

for me I grew with led for 2 years but I kept having the problem of the led panels breaking on me I own 4 led panels I bought and paid for myself and every one of them has had to be fixed once or more a few of them more them 4 times in a year

I understand things break that's just how it goes but when I have to ship out half of my panels to get fixed mid flower that's a big problem that's to me the main reason I moved to hps is just shear reliability of it if a bulb or a ballast goes out switch it out and bam back to growing

but every lighting has its faults hps is awesome and reliable but i am in a small grow space so its hard to control heat and this is where I think cmh will shine the reliability of hps and with half the heat like led and a better spectrum

makes perfect sense that wouldnt even be a option for me to do if a light goes out its in the bin if i cant fix it cant risk shipping items like that back only asking for trouble in my neck of the woods . i look forword to see what you make of the cmh :pass:

so I know I have posted this video in just about every thread we have made about 315w cmh so far but I think its a great video with some good information

a big part of that is the 315w bulb and its unique spectrum

so here it is again

I think it depends on the manufacturer. I know with Philips it could do ether. I would deff follow what ever the manufacturer specified for their bulb.
