Indoor Teetee's MONSTER Glueberry OG, Toofless Alien, Blue Amnesia and Night Queen Auto grow

Glueberry is flying bro, another jungle on it way
Yeah Man! I've got the machette ready!

TeeTee, they are looking great Bro, Gluberry, must be trying to reach to the lights and beyond
You're not wrong Bro.... I don't have much space left....

Great grow as always @Teetee and that Photon 6 led still working after all this years.
Thanks for showing what the skyline can do in the hands of a Pro.
Thanks fror the rep points Muddy. The Photon has always been a great light..... nice to get the old Girl out again!

The grow is proving to be very interesting, what with the cardboard growbox, the Siamese Glueberry OG Twins and the recovery of the locked out Night Queen..... now the Blue Amnesia is fucking me around.

Here they are on day 62 as a group.....

clockwise from top left: Night Queen, Blue Amnesia XXL, Glueberry OG and Toofless Alien

The ENORMOUS Glueberry takes up a good deal of the tent.... she could easily fill out the tent on her own.

She hides the Blue Amnesia.... here's a shot from a different angle, showing the BA in the centre back....

She is certainly XXL, and looks nice and green.....

......but I can't see ANY flowers..... and it's day 62.... all the others are blooming away, but she's still vegging......

Ignore the droopy leaves, I didn't have time to water her yesterday, so she's gasping.... normally her leaves are nice and up.
She has preflowers... I'm not seeing any bollocks.... so what the fuck???

I am beginning to think she might be a Photoperiod.... I'm running the lights on a 20/4 schedule, maybe this is stopping her from flowering? Any ideas @Dinafem-Mark ?

I checked my bean count, and I'm sure haven't gone and planted some different strain.... the lovely DinaFem 5x Blue Amnesia cannister has 3 beans left, and I've only grown her once before.

The others have been on PK 13/14 for 4 days but I have kept BA on the same feed as before, EC 0.8. She's fed at least once a day, sometimes twice... drinks loads, and the run off EC is 0.5. pH in the 5.8 to 6.0 range.

I decided this morning to start her on PK 13/14 as well to see if that kick starts some flowering.... we shall see.

Anyway, lets get back to the others.... starting with that Glueberry OG....

She's a stonker... full of long bud filled stems....

Next, the Toofless Alien.... the Mephisto Special Edition is looking lovely, even though she's getting squashed by the Glueberry, she's holding her own...

Looks like there's gonna be plenty of that sugary sweet bud coming my way...

Night Queen is at the back, looking very colourful...

Her buds are probably the most advanced, but she's still got a lot of filling out to do.
day 62 NQ 2.JPG

I'm toying with the idea of getting another tent.... maybe a 1.2m x 1.2m to move the Blue Amnesia into and put her on a 12/12 lighting schedule.... that would give the Glueberry more room to spread out... I dunno, we're a bit tight at the mo, another tent means more lights, fans and $$$, so who knows at this stage...

if you have any ideas about what to do with the Blue Amnesia, do chip in!

Thanks for taking a look, have a good 'un!

Looking great TeeTee, maybe you are correct bro, about her being a photoperiod. I dont know much about them though, might try to grow some, providing they stay under 1.5m lol if possible. I could image the cost of lights etc. Photos, are different? can their vege stage be be forced to go longer,or less light for bloom? i dont know just thoughts:dizzy::pass:

Monsters everywhere as usual bro.. beautiful sight.. shame about the BA

We shall see Bro..... read below.....

Cheers Hope, but I have a plan.....

It's day 67, so we're getting close to the finish line...... for 3 of them, anyway.

The Blue Amnesia is now outside the tent, awaiting delivery of a new 1.2m x 1.2m x 2m tent all for herself.....

Here's a close look at those tops....

I'm hoping maybe a good trim of smaller stems and a bit of supercropping, flip her to 12/12 and I might get some bud off her.... she's 1.2m high and almost as wide, so I think it's worth a go.... I haven't found any bollocks yet.

The others are almost done..... especially the Night Queen, she's only supposed to be a 70 day finisher, and previous Night Queens of mine have always finished by day 80 or so.

here's her main cola...

The Toofless Alien will finish 2nd...

Plenty of nice sticky colas forming...

.... and this is the main cola...

As you can see with the Night Queen and Alien, I've had to throw a few stakes in.... they were so rammed in before, but now the Amnesia is out, they needed some support.

Finally the enormous Glueberry OG.... I had to take all the other plants out to get this shot.... she could have this tent all for herself really......

Now the Blue Amnesia is gone, Glueberry has more room to fill out....

I stopped giving them PK13/14 and they are on a standard feed made up of A&B with some Roots Excellurator, Multizyme, Bud XL and Bud Candy..... EC 0.8 pH 5.8...... no late Bloom Boosters (like Overdrive or Top Shooter) for this grow.... I haven't used any Amino Treatment (Silicone) either this grow... and I'm beginning to think that they're both a bit unnecessary.... and expensive.
The Blue Amnesia is getting the same feed but without the Bud XL and Bud Candy.... just vegging along.

Thanks for looking in, have a good one.

So I'm pretty certain the Blue Amnesia XXL is a Photoperiod plant, maybe she didn't take the Ruderalis gene, or something, I dunno.

@AutoLowRyder worried me that the 10 week veg period may stress her, but I reckon she'll be OK and not go hermie on me, plenty of growers seem to keep Mother plants in veg for extended periods, and I'm praying mine will behave.

I decided to buy another tent for the BA... a 1.2m x 1.2m wide, 2m high tent.... cheap but surprisingly well made.... apart from the spindly poles.... breathe on them and they bend!

It finally arrived today(10 days for delivery FFS) and so I dug out some old kit to get things going..... first, the old 5 inch extraction fan I used in the cardboard growbox earlier this grow, and then my thoughts turned to lighting......

I was already using an old Photon 126 unit for the main grow.... as supplemental lighting, but now there's one less plant in my main tent, I moved it into my new tent for the Blue Amnesia.... it wasn't enough to cover her with light, so I dug around some more and looked for my old Helios lights......

I think I got them back in 2012/3.... everyone was using HPS.... if you used LED's you'd get lynched online.... everyone telling you they are useless, don't live upto the hype, too expensive etc etc....

Despite all the 'advice' and warnings.... I went with LED Hydroponics..... I don't know why, but I think it had a lot to do with the knowledge that the main Man there, @muddy-ledhydroponic has.... he knew his product, and gave the best advice on how to use them.

Then I watched open mouthed as a grower called Ledbud (AKA @Taipan), grew a massive Automazar with one. In those days. most growers were getting 3 to 5 ounces from an Auto, Ledbud scored 14 ounces!!!

I found my old (2x) Helios 2's and one Helios 6...... the Helios 6 was my beloved first LED..... the one they all tried to shit on.

But she showed them.... she showed them how to grow a kilo from 2 Auto Ultimates..... oh yes.

I could not believe it...they all fired up first time! Quality gear..... nice one Muddy!

I'll save the Helios 2's for later, but the Helios 6 and the Photon 126 are now back together like Jake and Elwood, bathing my Blue Amnesia in pure LED goodness.....

Here she is without lighting, and you can see how BIG she is. She only just fits in the tent widthwise, and there's barely enough room for the lights.....

I think I'll have to do some supercropping on those tall stems, and maybe thin her out a bit in the middle and then clear her out down below. There's certainly plenty of action in those tops.....

I am a bit on the broke side, so I'll be adding kit as and when I have the funds, but next will be a 6 inch extraction fan (Hyperfan) and a 6 inch T junction so I can divert some of the cool air supplying the other tent into this new one.

Then a Carbon filter.... luckily we are very rural, so that's not an immediate concern.

At the moment, I'll have to manually switch them off at 8am and put them back on at 8pm....

manually....

Can I just run them off a normal timer, or do I have to find one with a contactor in it?
I remember with HPS the cheap timers used to blow.
The other tent lighting is controlled by a Harvest Master unit.... pricey kit and way too many functions on it that I won't be using, so I don't wanna buy another one of those.

I've extended our rental lease by a month, so we have a few more weeks to play with..... the Autos will be all done in time, but this Blue Amnesia will have to somehow be transported to the new gaff while she's in late flowering!!!

That WILL be fun!

They are huge Auto plants there Bro ! Blue Amnesia XXL must be a photo then. Such huge yields Tee you'd had and Taipan also :jawdrop:

Cheers Smokey, I'm taking the Night Queen down now .... nearly there.... just a few stems left to do.

It's more effort managing 2 tents, but I'm managing so far....

Now it's just the Toofless Alien and Glueberry OG Autos in one tent, all set on timers at 20/4 lighting, nothing's changed in there, it's all dialled in.

The Photo Blue Amnesia is on her own in the other tent, I only have a 4 inch extract which isn't doing much, and I manually switch the lights off before I go to work, and on again in the evening..... manually..... not a great set up for a stoner like me!

On Saturday morning, after cropping the Night Queen I hit the sack at 5am, and luckily managed to wake up like a shot at 8.30am and ran off to switch off, then back to bed till lunchtime! Phew!

This grow, I've left out the late bloom boosters, and I have to say there is a difference. The buds in all my plants are a little smaller, but much more perfectly formed, and are maturing at the same rate across the plant itself.

In the past, I noticed that the boosters promote more flowering once the initial flowers have been formed, kind of making buds on top of the existing buds.... this resulted in massive yields, but loads of foxtailing.

On top of that, using boosters, the final bud had a mix of older, underlying bud, along with the newer bud, and if you've been waiting for that new buds trichomes to go amber, then the underlying buds would have overmatured.... you had to make sure not to over do the older bud, so really in the end, you get more weed, but it's of varying quality and effect.

Then there's the added extra couple of weeks, and the extra flushing to get those heavy duty additives out!

I've been smoking some of the Night Queen, fresh cut, in the oven for 30 mins at 80C, and it's already knockout gear, so I'm looking forward to when it's jarred and cured!

I've got to get on and deal with the Dinafem Solo Cup Challenge.... got my beans the other day!

Sounds great TeeTee, the smoke from Night Queen, i almost got her, but settled for Ulitmate. Grrr the mail didnt arrive but least the battle seeds have arrived.

Bro, that sounds a lot of work, but good to put the large Photo girl her own tent. Interesting about the bloom boosters, with less its less dense the bud, yet better formed buds. Earlier the bloom boosters the more bud, just on the first flowers appearing. I see what you mean now so the quality would vary, some could get very amber

The battle beans were pretty quick, 15 days and some less. Either they got lost, or if it was customs, i think i wouldve heard from them.

:pass: The harvest and cure is the best time of the grow, but also sad , as the poor girls have to be ripped
